Not sounding rude, but honestly its a green worm lol... If u google green nightcrawler you can see a pic of them. I went with a guy a few years back to a place in guyandotte somewhere under a train bridge by a river/creek and got them, but i cant remember exactly where

The train bridge you're talking about has been worked on and the had all kinds of equipment under the bridge... It might be hard to find then there now, but I've heard you can dig them up on river banks... There's also some stores that sell the green worms that kind of glow but I don't remember who sells them.. Go mart used to on rt.60 but I don't think they do anymore... Have you tried looking up on the Internet on what to look for on the river banks to dig them up??

They are Canadian Night Crawlers..... they are not green naturally, they actually taint them with the yellow/green dye. They can be found at most sporting goods places depending the time of year.

They can be found outside in the dirt too... Ive dug them up myself.. Its due to the high amounts of nitrogen in the soil... They are found in nature... So no, its not those worms you speak of

On almost any wet area under trees on a river bank you can dig them up there kinda like a green redworm I have used them my whole life.

I know what your talking about they're found along river banks. They're not as big as a night crawler about the size of an earthworm dark green in color and they have a very strong musty oder, and they are awesome fishing bait. I have picked them up by hand after a heavy rain along the Missouri River but they say you can dig them up also, you just need a shovel and a screen sift to run the soil threw. I haven't done it myself but I know guys that swear by them for bait the few times I've gotten to use them wow the catfish love um.

Green night crawlers are injected with dye. Green worms are different and are found by the river bank mostly as said before.

Also, there is a green worm that lives on a special kind of tree...cant remember the name. I used to date a guy that every time we went by one of the trees, he would point them out. The tree had great big leaves.

I'm sorry to inform you of this but you are wrong! The green worms that you are talking about are artificially turned green, real green worms are found on riverbanks and have an odor that reminds me of black licorice.

Mud on river banks like guyandotte or big sandy river
