Denver all the way...baby. I am over here where the Manning boys spent their summers with their maternal grandparents. Gooooooo Denver. It will be a good game.

The ultimate game winning scenario would be Denver driving for a last minute td and Manning burning the trash talking cornerback Richard Shermans ass with a pass in the very same corner of the end zone.

Or that same scenario and Richard Sherman picking it off and sealing Seattle's first Super Bowl in franchise history.

Manning is to smart to throw at him. Sherman is even smarter by getting into his opponents heads. Trash talk is part of any sport. Besides, crabtree is the reason for shermans rant. Seattle 21 denver 17

Being a former fighter and coach i know that anyone that trash talks does so to gain an advantage. Because they feel they either need it or they're scared. Kinda like a bull in a bullfight.Everyone assumes when a bull stomps the ground, kicks dirt and snorts he's a badass bull. Not so.It does so because he's nervous and unsure.

Truthfully, Im 9 for 10 on my post season predictions.
But I have to say this bowl has me stumped. IF Seattle plays with the same intensity they just did against the 49ers they will win, but that's a pretty big IF because a lot of that was fueled by the hometown noise. Its obvious who the better QB is here, and both teams can play in the cold and on the road. One side of me says if it comes down to being a defensive slugfest, Seattle has the edge, and the score will be low. The spontaneous and often unconventional passing of Kaepernick was adjusted to, yet Manning is a far more conventional and in-the-pocket type of QB, who also does not have the rushing ability as Kaepernick and also has a tender ankle. The other side says Seattle is going to come to the bowl with abated intensity, and Wilson will throw a couple of key interceptions, which will deflate the Seahawks, and the game will sort of be a runaway. Something tells me Seattle is going to blow it, which I don't want cause I'm a Seahawk fan. I take Denver 31-13.

Michael jordan was one of the biggest trash talkers of his time. Are you saying he was scared? What about muhammad ali was he scared? Don't think so. Hell Lebron is even a big trash talker. I feel this thread was an attempt to get people to start bashing sherman. Did you even hear the audio of sherman telling crabtree "hell of a game" after that play. That's when crabtree pushed shermans face and that's what caused the rant.

Wrong! Bad analogy. A bull isn't nervous and unsure, he is mad and wants to kill. I predict the Broncos will run away with this game! You third string linemen come back and relate to this post when the game is over!

Have to correct you on the bull temperment thing.I learned this from one of the few non fiction books written by Ernest Hemmingway, i think it was titled either death in the afternoon or blood in the sand. A real good read.He describes his experience in Spain. It also talked about how handlers of the matadors go to the arena in the am before a fight and all 3 handlers(of 3 matadors) pick from a hat what the matadors face that afternoon in the arena.
Each one face 2 bulls. They write on cigerette papers 2 bulls on each one. They put one bad bull and one good bull on each paper. The handlers then choose by picking from the hat and then go back and report to their matador what they'll be facing.A bad bull might be one thats unpredictable as to which way it turns its head to hook, or it might be an extremly large bull. A good bull might be one that always hooks in one direction or it might be a smaller bull.
Hemmingway also told about how a bull that tries to get the bluff on a matador does so by kicking the dirt and snorting. So i think its safe to assume he learned this from experts over there involved with the sport. He also told about exhibitions where they would bring in lions and tigers and put them in a cage will a bull. The bulls would charge them so visiously that they would break the bars on the cage and take them out into the sand and mangle these big cats so bad that they'd have to put them down. Damn good read.I got the book at the huntington branch library yrs ago.Check it out. Anyway matador,i had the broncos picked as well.No 3rd string linemen here. And never felt the need to get inside anyones head to gain an advantage like these shyt talking athletes today.
