been outa town for a bit..used to be my spot,but now its closed???? what the hell happened?

Ronnie Myers fixed his poker machines to payout alot more than they took ion and it eventually shut us down. I don't know what made him do it but it really sucks.

Lies, the machines hit and they didn't have enough money for the payouts. Those machines are set by the state not Ronnie, he has no control on how they pay out. Stop making excuses for maxies failed business!!!!

I agree with you. All machines are hooked into the state lottery Dept. If anybody messes with the machines the state would know & arrest the person that fixed the machine.

lol someone earlier used the term failed business,sounding as though we magically coyld control any mechanical problems with the machine lol It paid out so much money in one montg it was almost unreal. I miss that bar and its patrons so much. RIP maxies

economy I can agree on...the smoking ban didnt help...but what do u mean by the dui laws...those have always been around and that bar was one of THE longest running bars in this town.

They had too many bar tabs, not enough real cash to pay off on machines and not enough paying customers to keep the utility bills and other expense paid. So when that happens you CLOSE the doors and turn off the lights!!!!
