Isn't that how Huntington High school made the news. Ignoring the problem.

When the cabell county school has commercial on educating all kids I don't think Neely got the memo because of the remark about special need kids.
What???? Only one special ed class. Crazy they need to start one for parents as well!!!

Some of you sound like Bill Smith, Neely and other board members saying that need special need class for parents. Blame the parents.n These board members are criminals they Double dip money and steal money from kids education . By hiring people sit at board of education to sit around when only takes one person to do the job. When use the money extra teachers in classrooms. No one knows who is charge of anything.
We need new people . New ideas.
They except kids to follow rules but not staff.

She did not say anything like that. Do your own research and get your fact straight.

Browning you can denied that Neely said that terrible comment about someone child that they are distractors and need be in their own school. It's easy to say Neely didnt say that about special need kids . Browning what did she say about the kids at local school in Guyandotte .
The rest of board and Bill Smith should resign too give Neely any consequences. The girl who was at huntington high got consequences but why does staff don't get consequences .
In the paper said the board in charge of punishing of staff. They are in charge of budget. The bias comment Neely made effect the education of special needs. Have you been to a play ground only a few have handicap swings. Teachers are allowed not let a child with autism use the computer because they slobber. That's discrimination against special need kids

Neely comment about special needs just shows how school system discriminates against special needs. If their issues about special need they don't care about it. The evidence in the board minutes and policies . And the room people who heard Neely talked at Huntington Kitchen.

Agree the money is spent on people sitting at the board office. Bill smith should retire. And the his lap dogs aka board members need to resign .

She never said anything about special needs children. A woman on Facebook who supports another candidate posted a lie about Neely. Like the person said in a post. Call her and talk to her. Apparently her number is public. The reason why she probably hasn't said sorry is because it's a lie. This woman has been in politics forever and on the BOE, I find it hard to believe she would say that.

Why don't you post your real name? Why don't you and the other brilliant people commenting on this thread, run for the BOE? I promise 90% of you won't even vote. I heard about this thread which is the ONLY reason I came on to this deplorable website. Don't you people have better things to do? No one has the balls to post their real name because you're cowards. Say these things to the BOE members faces. Ok, I'm done and never coming back to this low rent, trashy people, bathroom wall of a website.

Mom of Distractors wrote:
I am a mother of a special need child. Mary Neely was talking to a group of people at Huntington Kitchen today. She said special need are distractors and need to be in their own school. And not in classroom with other kids. It makes wonder what other board think of special need kids and new running election. I believe we need a change old board members out and take Bill Smith with them. They let teachers commit fraud, break hippa and bully kids. We need board members like in Wood county that put all kids first not just normal ones. Next things ms. Neely will want do is separate poor and rich kids because poor kids don't know how to act.
they are a distraction in class rooms full of normal kids. making noises and deficating themselves. how can a teacher run a classroom when they have to babysit someone with that mental capacity? they can't. the special education program gets more funding then regular education and we wonder why we are having so many drop outs... its because they spend more money on special needs then they do students who can actually contribute to society, not take money away from it and blow for no good reason. they should have their own schools. all the teachers do is abysit them all day. honestly i don't know why special needs are even part of the regular school system. they get no education. the only thing that comes from it are the parents get a free babysitter for a part of the day. be thankful you get tme away from having to deal with your child and that a school system pays more to babysit them then they do teaching others how to advance in life.

They get money for special Ed they get from another funding called IDEA. They dont use money appriate and double tip, and commit fraud. The taxes and levy go to so called typical kids . THAT sounds like Mr. Smith saying special needs kids cost too much money .
In class is ran right then inclusion of all kids work.
The reason we have drop out because class are to big. In middle school they have 2 teachers in classroom . One of teachers writes hall pass. They need 2 teachers in elementry classroom. Kids that have trouble learning they don't help them and they don't find out why they have trouble reading. The teacher only works with smart kids and kids struggle fall more behind.

Have you observe classroom? No one getting education with all school violence . It's not special need kids that are not distactors . It's kids don't know how to behavior . It's kids who bullied are distractors in classroom . The teachers are even scared. So no kids are getting education .
