They Said Everyone should have all the checks and paidoff by tommorrow 9/21/2012
If not why don't everyone team up report to the state bar in charleston wv and sue back the lawyers that work this and then sue city national bank again we would all have more money than what we would know what to do with . lol and then I bet you they will be sorry that they didn't give us the first money too begin with from the settlement and I don't blame the guy that said he wrote a 300.00 dollar check because they should of already had this settlement settled to begin with and how long did it take them 4 or 5 months from when they said first time we would be gettin are checks and being payed off from the settlement.

I know the bank has received the direct deposits for the class action suit, has anyone though received a check if your account was closed in good standing?

Would love to talk to the attorney representing the customer who sued CNB. In 9/2010 CNB tried garnishing my wages at work due to this error. I thought this was some ridiculous error on my part at the time. i had even made payment arrangements with the CNB collection department to make monthly payments. They closed my account. Come to find out it was because of the way they were charging customer overdraft fee's. I received a letter dated 6/15/12 stating I have a -200.00 account balance after applying their Debt Forgiveness. I requested a Chexsystem report and received today 9/28/12 and it still shows I owe CNB $1,000.00. I don't feel I owe them anything being that they went to my employer to sue me for their mistake by overdrafts on my account due to high-to-low reordering.

I nearly missed my direct deposit of $13.30. Seriously, I do have my bank statements for all the years in question. Wonder where you go to correct the math done for my account? What a joke! Bury your money in your yard. Banks are just there to rip you off!

Amen to that!!! Make sure u have the $ there & u won't have to worry about who u bank with!!!
You need to know the facts before you say what you say, it wasn't a matter of making sure we had the money in the account, they were holding our direct deposits and putting checks ahead of it by highest amount first, not by when the checks were recieved, then putting your deposit in after them.

I paid more than $250 every month in
their fees. This went on for years. I got around $900. That is way less than I had figured since this covered a period over 6 years. I agree, something fishy went on. Who could we contact?
