BUT...and this is the most important part...there is a CONTRACT EVRYONE MUST READ AND SIGN before buying anything or putting anything into layaway. By signing that contract, you agreed to everything on it whether you read it or not. It clearly states, if you put something into layaway you must continue paying it out, even if they don't want it. I don't know any other store's layaway that works any differently. A layaway is a sale just like any other sale. So...if you don't like the way they operate or how they handle things, simply don't go back. The RoseTree has always satisfied the large portion of their customers, and those customers seem to be going back for a reason. thanks!!
The customer is not always right however, the customer should ALWAYS be satisfied. Maybe in the store meetings they could collaborate on how to attempt to make EVERY customer satisfied with their overall experience to increase their repeat business.

They need to fire the rude staff. Starting at the top. Hope they bring in someone to go through the books and find how bad they have cheated people outa $$$

Yes I had problems with them when purchasing my wedding dress n bridesmaids dresses....very rude to me n my wedding party,overcharged us on our dresses n then attempted to tell the police ,who was there for another issue,that they may want to stick around cause we where causing trouble....causing no trouble just wanted answers to the the unexpected charges for dresses

I had THE worst customer service experience today at Rose Tree Boutique in the Huntington Mall. I bought an expensive piece of jewelry not even a week ago that completely fell apart. Upon close expection, it was marked made in China. Clearly over priced and poor quality...when asked if I could return it for store credit the manager was rude and standoffish...it's a rip off...poor quality...rude staff and terrible customer service.

The worst possible customer service I've ever had in my life. Went there looking for my wedding dress. Was treated as if I couldn't afford their dresses etc. landed up shilling in Lexington and bought my dress there. Terrible attitudes of all their staff. I would never step foot on their again

My name is Serena, I never get on Topix, but someone told me about this post. My daughter's senior prom was in 2008. We went to Ceredo to the Rosetree to get her dress. I ended up putting it on layaway paying $250 down. The following week I went to pay the other $250. When we arrived, they brought us out the dress along with jewelry and shoes that I did not ask for!!! My remaining balance with all the added crap was $500!! I explained that I had NEVER put any jewelry or shoes on layaway!! I'll never forget how rude the so called owner was!!! Apparently, this woman took over her mother's business after she got Alzheimer's. I refused to pay for stuff I did not want. She wouldn't allow me to pay and take only the dress. She kept my $250!!!! I wanted to take it to court, but my husband had just lost his parents and he didn't want to deal with anymore stress. Having to pay for a funeral and all ready being out that much money, I never had much left to spend on another dress. I feel like every year making flyers and putting them on cars at all the high schools warning them not to buy anything from the Rosetree!! I will never go back!!!
Since this happened to us, we have heard other people's complaints and how they will never go back! I wish people would boycott this place and let it go under!! You can find the same dresses online much cheaper!
