<quoted text>Since you know everything, tell me something genius.......How are you going to regulate something that you don't have possession over? How is any law going to change anything if people choose not to abide by it? When someone breaks the law and kills 20 more kids and then themselves, how are you going to punish them?
I'm not giving up my guns or my magazines, no matter what Obama or congress or anyone else says so, tell me how your "regulations" actually regulate anything if I choose not to obey them?
You are fighting a lost cause and you are just to stupid to know it!
Ok. Simple terms for the slow.
You own your car. The government regulates that.
People choose not to follow plenty of laws. We call them criminals and lock them up if their actions deserve it.
If someone kills 20 people they will be tried for murder.
If these regulations pass then you can keep what you have just like before when the bans were passed no one went door to door confiscating anything. Gun manufacturers just won't be able to sell certain types if guns here. You won't be able to buy new military style guns in the future. Boo hoo. If you choose not to obey the laws then hopefully you will be arrested and sent to a pound you in the bum prison until you learn to obey the law. Good luck being a nut job.

LMAO! I asked you what are you going to do when some other nut job kills 20 kids and then themselves and your answer is to try them for murder? That right there tells how delusional you are!
How are you going to know if I bought my magazines before the ban or after? How are you going to know what guns I have before the ban? Ha ha. You aren't and that is exactly why your regulations will change NOTHING!
The stores may not be allowed to sell any of this stuff but, I promise you that I will still be buying anything I want and your tax dollars are going to be wasted trying to stop me.

Ok so I missed you saying the guy would off himself. You got me. Obviously you can't stop crazy people from doing crazy things. These regulations are to try to minimize the damage these psychos do. The Tucson shooter was stopped when he had to reload his 33 round clip. How many people would be alive if he only had a ten round clip? If these bans go into effect then where do you think you'll be buying your guns and clips? The black market? You watch too many movies bro. Hopefully universal checks and registration pass and you'll be SOL. You might get away with it for a whole but eventually it'll catch up to you and you won't have your precious gun to protect you in prison. They'll have fun with a loudmouth like yourself. As an ex-con you won't legally be able to own any gun. You shouldn't anyway since you're batshit crazy.

You are the one who is bat shit crazy and stupid to go along with it. I will get away with it for as long as I want because you have no way of proving what guns and magazines I own or when I bought them.
As far as you pretending there is no black market or you are going to get rid of it, let me clue you in.....I bought an AR in Nov. 3. The nut job went off in Conn. on Dec. 14. Since then I have purchased the following.........
8 30 round magazines
2 50 round drums.
1 150 round drum
1 Flash hider
1 collapsible stock
Every one of these items are on your fantasy ban list and I did not go to a store to purchase any of them. I am in the process of working out a trade on another AR as I am writing this, even though every store in the nation is sold out of them. Good luck with your regulations that as I said......do nothing under other than suck more taxes out of your paycheck

Yeah until the gun show loopholes get closed and private person to person sales get regulated nuts like yourself can pretend to be Rambo and hope and pray for the end of civilization so you can be the hero in your apocalyptic fantasy world. Have fun wasting your money on your stockpile of guns and ammo you'll never need.

Nice list. A couple of valid things that need changed. How do you lump in anti gun rhetoric in with the others? The media reflects public opinion. The majority in this country are for gun regulation. You may not like it but it isn't unconstitutional. And pepper spray? Would you rather go back to using fire hoses or the tragedy at Kent State? And please stop with the silly buzz words. Demonizing? Really?
Valid question, I lump in anti-gun rhetoric with these because if you read the writings of the authors of the second amendment they clearly state that it is there to defend your home and to protect yourself from an out of control tyrannical government. I know from your previous comments that you think this is a crazy idea, but take a moment to consider history. Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, and Hitler all enacted strict gun control or at least disarmed a portion of their population. All of them also killed millions. The largest killer of the 20th century was actually out of control violent dictators. So personally I don't see this as crazy at all. I am not sure where you got pepper spray since I didn't mention it. Demonizing isn't a buzz word it is obviously just what is happening to gun owners and constitutionalists in the mainsteam media. Take a moment to look at the violent crime and murder rates in larger liberal cities with strict gun control and then take a moment to consider the violent crime rates of pretty much any area with lenient gun laws. Look at West Virginia, Montana, North Dakota... Some of the highest gun ownership rates in the nation and some of the lowest rates of violent crime as well. Take a look at places with more strict gun control, California, Illinois, New York, gun crime is through the roof. Gun control obviously doesn't work and it doesn't make anyone safer. Laws do not deter criminals from acquiring firearms, criminals do not care about laws. There are millions of illegal weapons in the streets today and they aren't going to just disappear, the best we can hope to do is arm ourselves to defend our families and property should we become the victims of a violent home invasion, rape, robbery, or whatever. All that making firearms illegal would do is disarm law abiding citizens who actually care about the law and instantly create a massive black market for guns only available to criminals. This should be obvious, think prohibition or the war on drugs.

You're ridiculous! I never bought any of that stuff at any gun show and you have no chance possible to regulate what people do in private. You said it all yourself when you stated that you can't stop crazy people from doing crazy things...... even if you could regulate my gun, it wouldn't stop a crazy person from killing 27 people with one just like it.

I get that you're slow, but private car sales are regulated and so could gun sales. No one said you bought anything at a gun show. There are loopholes in our current laws that allow people to sell at gun shows without doing background checks. Not everything is about you sport.

Don't call me slow. You are the one who said it. What you need to accept is that there will ALWAYS be loopholes and car sales are no exception so that was another bad example.
You have no where close to a real concept of how many firearms there are in the US or how easy they are to obtain and you are foolish to think that you have any chance to get rid of them. You also have no where to close to a real concept of the black market for firearms and how it works but, Marijuana has been banned for how many years? Well guess what? I can buy a gun and a bag of weed in the same trip and your laws are a fairy tale. There are millions and millions of unregistered weapons in the US and you can't stop me getting a gun anymore than they can stop me from getting anything else that a bunch of dreamers have already banned. Get over it!

What I am against is so called Americans like you that want to give up our rights. Call it regulate or whatever you want but, it is a violation of the constitution. That's what I am against. You or no politician can touch my guns or stop me from buying more.

Got it. Your a tough guy. Above the law. Guns are already regulated and those regulations upheld by the Supreme Court. Obviously not unconstitutional.
Guys like you need guns to feel like a bad ass because you're weak. I feel sorry for you. Dumb and armed isn't a good combination.
BTW. I get that you aren't going to allow anyone to take your precious guns so really man there's no need for you to keep repeating it over and over. Just move on and give us more of your brilliant ideas.

I don't need guns to make me feel tough. I have guns to level the playing field against criminals that have guns.
If you get that I'm not giving up my guns then why don't you get that nobody else is going to either and realize that no law is going to change anything? What Obama is talking about doing IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL but, congress isn't going to let him do it so, you are both dreaming! Write all the laws you want because there are already 22,000 gun laws on the books and they haven't affected me yet. Any new ones aren't going to either.

zaphod is a prime example of the type of "low information" forum noob that is so prevalent today. The faggotry and arrogance is a new dynamic though. Since the advent of forums, individuals such as zaphod, who are not revered or successful in real life, and who are generally cowards with healthy phobias of guns and their purchasers are now able to mingle in "virtual groups" in complete anonymity, without the usual nervousness and inferiorness that they feel around real people..they act tough and say things they would NEVER have the stones to say to a real person. Pity them for they elevate themsleves by beating down others, not by achieving.

If you notice, low information voters dont usually add any useful information to a thread or conversation. I defy any of you to qoute a useful bit of information from "zaphod". This human is useless. Common but useless. A real headcase

Typical zaphod comeback when you can't dispute the truth. You should be ashamed for posting such ignorance and cowardice statements. You don't deserve to own your grand daddy's musket. Everyone who is anti gun should have to have a sign in their yard stating that they are anti gun and should be denied the right to call the police when you are in trouble. Any person who is to cowardly to defend their own self should not be able to call on someone else for protection.
That would thin you cowards out in short order. You faggots don't like getting your hands dirty either but, you don't mind sticking your dick in someone else's shit.
The only thing you queers and cowards stand for is hypocrisy!

I'm grown up. It's not my problem if you can't handle the truth. If you are worried about me then, you really should get a gun because there truly are crazy people in the world with guns and we both know that you or nobody else is going to try taking my guns.
