And to "Big Brother"... In actuality VA Tech wouldn't have won that game if the Marshall defender hadn't been doing his job!!! That ball couldn't have been caught if Marshall's defender hadn't touched the ball. Just getting the tips of his fingers on the ball slowed it down and turned the spin just enough for VA Tech's guy to catch it!

When you can discuss things that actually happen on the playing field to back up your "we almost won" defense get back to me. ;)

P.S. I still have a vag.

Hitting the crack pipe much??? Huge fan support? There are always hundreds if not thousands of empty seats at your home games lmao.
When did live attendance be the only factor in determining fan-base? I know a LOT more people who go to games just to hang out with friends and drink, then go there for the actual game itself. The tailgate community is huge for a school of this size and half of those folks rarely ever walk into the stadium.
Empty seats doesn't tell the real story. If every student and teacher attended the game there would still be empty seats. Over half the population of Huntington has moved well outside of the region as its population, despite the rise of population in the USA over the past 30 years, has gone from 100K to 48k, most of them being over the age of 60.
Downtown Huntington is practically all service-based with 54 bars and over 100 eateries, most of which show the game on TV. Huntington is poorly designed for parking, its easier to park for their basketball games than their football games. A lot of walking is required, and most of the actual residents of Huntington are older and would rather watch from home or one of the sports bars.
Despite relatively cheap game tickets, the average annual income for an individual is only $18.5K a year, so do do you wanna feed the kids or go to a game?
Lastly, Huntington isn't near anything. A lot of Morgantown alumni hail from Pittsburgh, a little over an hour away, and there is a convenient bus shuttle service from D.C.
The fans of MU are just as strong as anyone else. Everywhere you look there is the Marshall emblem, or some sort of representation of Marco and the Thundering Herd. The local paper is plastered with Marshall sports every day. I have only been to 2 games in the past 6 years, but dont consider myself any less of a fan for not actually being in the stadium.

Beats having the worst fans IN attendance....as the whole nation is now aware of re: WVU fans. A embarrassment to the state. People outside this state are thinking "Bunch of drunk uneducated rednecks" But when people leave Joan Edwards Stadium they think "Those are the nicest and most highly educated respectful fans we've ever encountered"
