Though I've not personally been there, I have a friend who has eaten there several times and claims it is excellent.

He used to be the chef at the 21 club inside the Frederick building. The bistro is where Third and Ninth deli used to be on 3rd Ave across from Five Guys.

Actually, the Bistro is open in the evening, and Third & Ninth deli during the day. Same location.

The food is very over-priced and the portions are very small. I've eaten there once and won't go back. Also, what the menu calls tiramasu is some sort of weird raspberry cake...major disappointment.

Everyone's a fuggin critic. Food is awesome. Portions are ok - wv is the fattest state in the country (or up there with KY and Miss), so of course some chunker is going to whine about that. Prices are in par with other fine dining places in the region.
idk

Seems like poor timing to make a go of a privately owned "fine" dining establishment....idk...will prob get steady regulars, then the parade of "jones" who must be seen there or give their opinion....then...who knows...seems like another candy coating for a town in trouble

I cant believe people in this area want to bash a locally owned business. All involved are local people who care about what they do. It's a new place with plenty of details to be worked out but I've been several times. The food is always amazing and overall it improves with every visit. Also, it might be less disappointing if people actually read the menu. There was a raspberry tiramisu on the menu but has been replaced. It clearly said RASPBERRY on the menu. If you expected traditional then you must be illiterate. So to all the complainers, enjoy your shit food at the chain restaurants on every corner in this area. It's frozen, pre made, & can be purchased for very cheap. There will be no surprises or creativity or flavor there. I'll be supporting the locals who create jobs, care about their customers and their community and try to make Huntington a little nicer of a place.

So are you new to topix or something. People will b!tch about anything and everthing on here. Me?....I'm on here for the trolls...I'm very interested in trying this place though. I'll go to a local place any day over a chain restaurant.

Ordered take out for lunch and enjoyed it all! I also had the opportunity to try some brownies their pastry chef prepared and they were incredible! I'm just waiting for a special occasion to justify spending that kind of money on dinner and dessert.
