Personally, I can tell you that FB can ruin a relationship. I have lived this and have known many others who have experienced this as well. For example, alot of crazy people out there use FB to locate someone then they harass, intimidate, and stalk them. People do this out of jealousy, anger, and lack of medication. Some people even get on FB to let everyone know they are getting ready to commit suicide. I still have not yet found a genuine purpose that facebook serves. If I had to guess it be: 1.Bragging 2.Whining 3.Pretending..And dont even say "I use it to communicate with people that are close to me". I have communicated with people in other countries for many years before FB came along.

But your PARTNER must have been involved too so why blame it on Facebook? If he was "being harassed, intimidated, and stalked" on Facebook, there's probably a good reason. If he strayed using FB, then it was only a matter of time before he strayed in person. Don't blame social media for the lack of communication in your relationship or your partner's infidelity. Get a grip & realize Facebook just made it easier for your partner to cheat- it didn't DO the cheating! It takes two!

Well, I never said my "partner" was involved in anything. Don't assume, it just makes you look stupid, like now for example lol. I never said anything about a lack of communication either. Sheesh, are you high? Try getting high on life my friend. This can work wonders.

Oh what the hell ever- your first two sentences implied that your relationship with another person ended because of something that happened via Facebook. Don't try to make me out to be stupid or "high," which is completely and utterly incorrect. I am "high on life" because I have a great one! Getting on Topix often reminds me as such. Thank God I was blessed with common sense, logic, and an education.

It can distroy a relationship. But is it really what distroyed the relationship, or was it just a crazy bf/gf. I have a huge problem with being friends with a ex. If you are in a committed relationship end the friendship with the ex. Hello they are called an ex for a reason. Is it right for you to have a continued relationship with a ex and continued conversations daily, weekly? Then you expect your partner to not have a thing to do with their ex. And they oblige. Grow up delete the ex's before you f' up your current relationship. Is the so called friendships with the ex worth your happiness. Its just as bad as keeping chicks phone numbers in your phone. Get rid of them too.

Then some people should ask themselves if thier bf or gf is ruining thier relationship with facebook.

Facebook is to social losers what Larping is to nerds and dorks. Just like it`s always the weak kid with a hundred allergies and poor eye sight who wants to be Conan, it`s always the gossip, braggart, drama queen who nobody likes in person who always has to update thier facebook.
