Are you in that much of a need to validate yourself on the internet? Wow. What a sad life you must have. I feel sorry for you, but I'm glad it's not me.<quoted text>
I've explained my view very clearly. As I said in the post you didn't reply to, the only part of this whole thing I have a problem with, is the ones who are clamoring for attention because they have been "charitable". It's the onanistic back patting that irks me, nothing else. Wasn't bothered by the traffic at all.
If you can't see how spending a few hundred bucks (if you count a hotel and meals) and then boasting about a dollar of it going to charity is offensive, then I can't help you. But it's a free country, so have fun.
And no, you certainly aren't required to be young. I see on television where senior citizens get scammed all the time. Driveway patching, getting their names in the "Who's Who's of Old People", all kinds of stuff. PT Barnum had humanity figured out before you were a glint in your daddy's eye.
Over half of what you say is assumption or just turning words around to suit what you have to say. But that's fine, you go ahead and have it. You obviously have a strong psychological need to feel right about this, and it's not nearly as important to me.
