did you learn your amazing writing skills at East? It was one long rambling sentence that didn't make sense. I hope you went to school somewhere else.

That o-line from 1987 was a great bunch of guys. I think Coach Stein called them the Fab Five. One of the smaller lines in the state and made it to the State Semis and should have won that game against Stonewall Jackson.

Best RBs: Cagle Curtis, Tommy Arthur, Bob Moss. They played in the early 50s. Really great teams back then.

I played back in the class of 87 and Lee Hale was the QB. I was a DE at the time... This was a great team to play on...

Chuck Brooks-punter Once punted a ball 70 yds in the air and rolled the rest of the way into the end zone. 1972 or 73 not sure

The 1981 team was very good. Scott stein, rushed over 1000, Billy Hynus had over 1000 yards receiving, and Chris Hunt had over 1000 yards passing. Went 10-1 that year. Lost to Brooke Co.

Best was Conway in '93. He was like a cross between Bozworth and Dick Buttkiss. He always shaddonged the competition. Second best HEHS player? I'd say Charlie or Vik Abraham are 2.

Someone posted this on the Barboursville Forum and I was not able to find it. I am writing a history of HEHS football and would like to see this. If you posted this please do so again & I will keep looking for it. I have some ideas of my own but as of now my history only goes up to 1965.
