What's it like to work there (i.e. schedules, people, pay)? Is it full time only and what is their absentee policy?

It's a hellhole to work at, your schedule depends on wether your boss likes you or not, ie: do you put out? The people there suck ass, the pay is a little above minimum, it's full or part time and their absentee policy is as follows...work or get fired.

Full and part-time. Pay is $10 or more an hour if you have experience. Schedules are done by human resources, not managers. They expect you to work your hours. You earn personal, sick, and vacation days, get some paid holidays. If you need off for a dr.'s appt they are fine as long as you either use personal/sick time or make it up the same week.

What they don't like are those employees who constantly clock in/out or leave multiple time a month with one excuse after another. They have many employees who want/need to work and who work their hours routinely. Those employees are taken care off and are favored when they request a schedule change or need something else work related. That is no different than any other business.

Those who complain are either troublemakers, constant complainers, don't work their schedules, drama queens, or do not understand the bonus system. Am I leaving anyone out?

I have spoken with robots before and i understand why they will never replace the human workforce. All you people who support robot workers will be sorry when they enslave the human race.

It is like any other company and they are out for themselves and they are in business so that top management can get rich. I would love to think they are in business to help the organizations they call for, but InfoCision gave the University of Akron a $10 million donation so the Zips could have a stadium. Obviously the donations they get are not all going to the organizations the donors expect them to go to. They have also opened a location in Ontario, Canada so they are no longer solely in U.S.

For some reason I couldn't stop laughing as I read this. But I agree robots scare the hell outta me, especially the ones that look like humans.

The organizations pay Infocision to raise money for them. That is how the company gets paid. They are not making calls and providing free marketing for the orgs. I am not sure how anyone would logically expect them to.

The organization gets all of the money raised, which is apparently more than the orgs are paying for the service since they keep hiring Infocision.

Your post shows that you do not know what you are talking about. Telemarketing companies are little different from any other company one contracts with for services. Many of these companies also subcontract the work out in order to save even more money to increase their profits.

None of the donations have been used to expand Infocision's business. You can read in various election newsletters and media reports of where conservative organizations pay Infocision millions to make calls for conservative causes. This includes various entities with GOP ties.

Buying some basic business books may help you understand corporations a little better, then you will not sound so foolish.

I worked there for years. A bunch of Republican scams, surveys that go in the trash, 3 minute prayer line limits that includes entering all of the person's personal information. Most of which is done to add more suckers to the call list, which is bought and sold. The calls were absurd Rightwing Christian scare tactics designed to rake old people over the coals while they get their credit cards. One of the most sickest things I ever heard another person say was when some blue hair from Texas told me America was her church, and George Bush was her preacher. The only good that came from working at that place is it taught me exactly who screwed this nation. Rightwing Christian Conservatives.

The people there are really fun,but I admit it can be a little monotonous at times. However,As another poster said,it's best not to complain. It just pulls everyone, including yourself, down. Most of the time,I get through the day by being competitive with my friends. If you must work there, make the best of it.
