It's jeet kune do. In Cantonese Jee kune dao, the art of the intercepting fist. Traditional martial arts is too doctrine, to many wasted movements and fixed positions. Jeet kune do is very short and to the point. But it's not just a martial art it's also a philosophy, and a way of thinking,

Do you teach this now somewhere? Would you do private lessons?

I don't have a school at the moment but I do teach private lessons to those who are serious about learning. If so you can contact me at [email protected]

OK-

Marine Corp Close Combat training Program (MCCCTP), Judo, BJJ and KravMaga instruction. Also survival training. I do private lessons on camping trips, lock ins, and lectures on traditional Japanese Koryu Jujitsu and Modern Military tactics. I`m going to open a school in southern Ohio soon. Everything from self-defense, hand to hand combat, weapon disarms, weapon retention, wilderness survival, recon, scavenging, tracking, trapping.

Instructor- If interested, I`d love to chat. Hope you the best in opening in this area. Networking is never a bad thing. If anything else, I don`t want to step on anyone`s toes as far as competeing formula`s. I know there used to be a KungFu school here in Huntington. John H. C. does his Juijitsu chain HQ in Chesapeak, Sensei Berry has Aikido in Ky (very traditional) and there`s Master Kim`s Korean Tae Kwon Do and Clayton Ferguson`s Champion MA.

Likewise good luck on opening your school. Yea I'm very familiar with the local schools and styles I trained with master perry in tae kwon do some time ago, but I no longer believe in styles or forms or a certain way of fighting. I'm not here to teach people simply how to defend themselves or how to do somebody in, but rather how to express themselves honestly through some type of movement. But I would like to discuss methods, you can contact me at the email in my previous post.

The only Instructoin certification I have is in Goshin Judo and MCCCTP. My training in Krav Maga is niche. I was only taught weapon retention and weapon disarms as well as close quarter weapon meele while at Camp Lejuene. No rank or certification was given. Although I achieved a black belt in BJJ to supplement my military training. I am not certified to authorize rank in any current BJJ or Krav Maga system. So if that was misleading I apoligize.
Many Martial Art styles have finger prints that clearly make them unique. While other styles are founded on principle of philosophy that may borrow or cross identification.
While Judo has it`s finger print in both technique and philosophy, MCCCTP and Krav Maga is very single minded in it`s techniques. Some systems would not blend so well. Jeet Kun do would indeed blend well. I would be interested in learning.

i will be contacting you. I would have alot to discuss. I have a wooden dummy and familiar with Wing Chung fundamentals but not at all effeceint.
To be honest I suffered shoulder and wrist injuries that deter from serious training in striking arts. So what you describe might be more for me.
