Guns don't kill people .....people kill people .......same as a automobile.....cars don't just come alive and kill ,they are driven by humans.....now in both cases, guns and cars can be in the wrong hands ....drunk drivers, mental cases with a gun ....so many examples ....BUT in all, the ones who kill are the humans behind the wheel,or at the trigger.....as with anything ....good drivers, and gun owners, accidents happen.....so to the original poster and all people against guns, simply.........shut up !!!!!!

It's the idiotic gun owners fault. Even my 9 year old daughter knows if something goes up it must come down. You also know its against the law to shoot a weapon directly in the air for that exact reason. Not guns fault but a morons fault. If someone chose to drink and drive and it killed a kid woukd it be the car, alcohol or mans fault?

I saw a dumb ass teenager running in a circle of small fires where he was dowsing the gas out on those little fires. What was so bad is there was 3 smaller kids running behind him in that circle. His single mother was setting there watching it go on.It was not my child but i took the damn jug an put out the fire and told the boy if i ever saw him doing that again ,i would bust his ass with a switch.I say more switches is whats needed in this country.and pledge too the flag and prayer in school.

Let's just say there was an all out ban on guns. No one, not even the criminals could get their hands on one. How do you suggest we keep the crime rate from exploding? If the everyday criminal knows for a fact that no one has any means to protect themselves. What will stop them from breaking into homes, murdering, raping, kidnapping, etc?

Over 90 people will be killed today in vehicle accidents.
Yay vehicles

Look it's sad a 6 year old died today but a few more 6 years olds will die today and tomorrow and every day after that. yes it could have been prevented by this person not discharging his firearm, but the other 90 deaths that will occur today could also be prevented by destroying all vehicles in the country, but that's never going to happen. If we aren't going to destroy the object used in over 90 accidental deaths than why complain about something that causes 2-5 accidental deaths a day? Look Accidents happen, this man was an idiot ill give you that, but honestly if this was celebratory gun fire, I'd imagine a few people were doing it, and I'm sure this dude was thinking "now, what are the odds this tiny piece of lead is actually going to hit somebody?" I understand that is know excuse, but it happens. drunk drivers, bad drivers, and idiots don't cause 100% of all vehicle accidents, vehicle malfunctions, distractions, changing infrastructure, and many other factors make up a significant percentage. Sometimes it's just wrong place wrong time, just like this little girl. Simply put a bird could have died 5,000 feet above her head, fallen from the sky and killed her. Sometimes s**t happens.

Apples and oranges

Vehicles working and operates properly do not kill people. Guns working properly do. That's what they were designed for. That's why we give out soldiers guns and not dodge neons.

Guess again

Stupid I was taking up for guns. I said he pointed it up, even my daughter knows what goes up must come down. Meaning it was an irresponsible owners fault NOT the guns fault
