of course weed should be legal for recreational and medicinal purposes. the fact that our country is so far behind on this issue is disappointing, especially when we could really benefit from the new revenue that will come from taxing it. and for everyone in this thread that keeps insisting that people receiving government assistance should be subject to drug testing, not only is this unconstitutional but they tried this in a few states like florida and arizona already and it has been a huge failure and a colossal waste of tax dollars. and unlike most people i'm not just talking out of my ass and i'll post some sources in hopes that more people will get a clue and quit demonizing the poor, most of whom can't afford to feed their families, let alone waste money on drugs.
