Does anyone know of any businesses that prohibit concealed carry? Our website is trying to establish a national directory of these businesses. Please help us out find us on Facebook and submit locations to our directory. CriminalProtectionZone.com

Guys like to talk tough, but there would be a lot less men slapping around wives/girlfriends if women were all armed. Big tough rednecks could be brought down by 100 lb girls. No wonder they are against it.

Excuse me but I'm a petite female and when I go out to eat with my friends in the late evening, I don't leave my house without my gun. Have you read the news lately? Do you realize how many muggings & robberies go on in Huntington every night, even downtown in well-lit areas? Getting my concealed was a matter of "better safe than sorry." No Huntington thug is going to take advantage of me, that's for sure.

Quick draw or not, it is better than the alternative. I think zaphod is sheltered. He/she has never been attacked by a drugged out "zombie". I have and do not want to get hurt again. I was bigger and stronger, but this nut did not feel pain.

The truth is that it's my constitutional right as an American to bear arms regardless of how anyone else feels about it. If you don't like it there are several other countries that you could move to. Come into my house or car to harm me or my family and I promise that you will never walk out.

I was just behind a guy in Walmart that had a big gun in a holster strapped to his side. I knew I was safe checking out with my tampons and gina creme.

Do you get off on insulting people that you deem to be beneath your genius level of intelligence?! Why do you think I'm just another statistic that will most likely hurt myself or family before I hurt anyone else? You don't know me whatsoever, for if you did, you'd know I've been around guns-- SAFELY HANDLED & STORED-- my whole life. My family isn't one of those "hillbilly gun toters" that keep them out in the open (however there wouldn't be a thing wrong with that if we were), and I've been trained on many different kinds of guns and all their safety features. I speak for pretty much everyone on Huntington Topix when I say that we're all sick of your degrading, hateful, and idiotic comments. Get a damn life and leave us "lowly Huntingtonians" alone.

I don't intend to scare anyone. You would never know I was carrying unless someone's life was on the line. At that point you would be happy that I was. I am military qualified on beretta 9, m16-a2, saw and .50 cal machine guns. I have fired at-4 antitank launchers and m203 grenade launchers as well. You can bet your a$$ that when my glock comes out of the holster that its not for show and that I know exactly what to do with it. Have a good day friend.

It is all common sense. If you do not act like a cowboy or an action movie star, you dramatically decrease your chances of an accidental discharge. I've been a concealed carrier for years, I've had Military Basic Training and advanced weapon training. Its just understanding how dangerous it is and respecting the gun. Guns are not a status symbol or a symbol that you support the 2nd Adm. It is simply a tool. Just do not be an idiot and never become complacent.

I feel safe carrying my gun. I have my CCW permit. I never leave my house without it. It is my right to carry my gun, some dumb ass is not going to hurt me. I refuse to be a victim.
