It is in the best interest of everyone involved to market both cities as a single metropolitan area. We West Virginians have a global reputation as being loyal and hard-working, but when domestic or international firms look at the statistical data to choose where to invest their money, they see a fragmented workforce that may or may not meet their personnel needs...why take a chance? A 600k metro area population will definitely change how we are viewed. Unity as West Virginians is what we need...do we have the leadership to put the pieces in place?
