The guy that owns the company moved it to Ohio because of insurance and tax advantages. Now that he is not in Huntington they should no longer honor his exclusivity right. Hopefully someone takes advantage of this because as bad as their service is, a new company could put them out of business in a heartbeat.

I still don't understand why the City of Huntington doesn't have its own cab company.
It would seem ( but I'm probably wrong) that because of their Ohio autonomy, the city has lets say a less than focused interest on how they operate, which in my estimation is pretty dang poor.
There is a potential liquid and protracted revenue stream from such a campaign and more importantly, with 54 bars in Huntington, a viable AND convenient livery or conventional service could dramatically reduce DUI infractions, risks to public safety, and police intervention.
If they choose to pursue due-diligence to this matter, I hope they take advantage of technologies like text requests, a phone system that can handle multiple simultaneous calls with the option to input address data, and automated confirmation, oh and the most important thing, a dispatcher who doesn't behave like a total turd every time you call.

With all the crap that you spew out on every topic on this forum, why would you suddenly try to sound serious? You're a douchebag so stay in the bathroom where you belong.

Charlie, you are either a cab driver or the owner Mr. Marlowe because that's the only people in town that think the cab service is respectable.

I don't find it the least bit amazing that you don't possess the ability to do anything but come in and write about other people's inability.

Nope, I'm just a semi regular customer who understands the business.

I fail to see how "understanding the business" is going to make the dispatcher less of an a.hole, or magically turn a busy phone line into an open one. Until or IF the cab arrives, those are my only two possible scenarios prior.

That honestly was in the back of my mind, it was just to sinister for me to actually write it down. Endangering the lives of others, to make money- really classy.

They should not be allowed to operate in Huntington. It's tax evasion. Do they pay the user fee for the drivers?

They need to be licensed and inspected in WV to operate here. And pay taxes.
