Imaginary scenario: You are a business owner selling widgets. Business is only steady enough to schedule 3 employees per shift. You get a tax cut, but business remains the same steadiness. Why would this give you more incentive to hire an extra person to stand around?

Just wondering.

Well seriously, Obama comes across vastly more sincere and credible than most politicians. His platform has remained steady. As he is relatively one of the poorest presidents his goal doesn't seem to make a lot of money.

I dont get your scenario at all. Getting a tax cut MAY incite hiring additional people. Whos to say the workforce was not overburdened to begin with. Why do you assume additional means"extra?"
Why do you assume they would just be "standing around?" What has led you to believe the ONLY reason to give a tax cut would be for business owners to hire someone?

He brought us back from the brink of economic collapse.

He had the least spending of any president in the past 50 years.

Unlike popular WV belief, he is pro coal. 70 percent of the coal industries losses have been simply attributed to milder winters and lower gas prices. Obama understands our need for the coal industry.

Unlike Romney, Obama's plans are written down and not laced in uncertainty.

Our economy is actually ascending while FOX is lying to people telling them we are on the brink of a recession.

Bear with me, I'm young and trying to understand trickle down economics. The way I see it now, if you give customers more money (lower income tax cuts) that would increase consumption, and in turn, hiring.

I would think owner's would want more profit, so if business can keep up with demand with the current number of employees they have, wouldn't an owner pocket the difference of a tax cut? Was Reagan suggesting that owner's will invest the difference in equipment and producing more at once to keep costs low?

Help open my eyes a little :)

Well, a tax cut isnt "giving" anyone anything. It just means less taken away.
Business types are varied, some are more worker-dependent than others.
Tax cuts MAY allow for a business to modernize and reduce the number of its employees. Some owners may just end with a little more elbow room, or be able to spend more, or send their kids to college with that tax cut. Who knows? Its all variable.
Tax cuts to people alone, IMO would stimulate job growth very little. You have to take in account, and IM going to make up a number, say 4K in additional spending power per year. The average person has debt. The cost of living exceeds the rate of salary increase. People dont spend all of their money in one place nor at the same time- its gets spread around. Heavily diluted.
So, given all of this, the extra money an individual may have would have very little effect specific to placing demands on a business owner to hire more people for only an incremental increase in sales.

Suppose this confused widget owner is very wealthy. What's the case for extreme cuts on his income? More capital available to lend?

Not really sure what you mean. Are you talking about personal wealth or business wealth?

Because Obama is a likable person, just like you are, he could even be your twin in so many ways! Does this answer your question?

Most that voted for him are either on some type of assistance or believe they are entitled to things. IR welfare, food stamps, Obama phones and the list goes on and on. Some are ignorant enough to believe that they will be labeled a racist if they don't vote for a black person. I can sum it up in one word "Ignorance".

Tons of wealthy Americans (including the top 3) are liberal. The 10 best educated states voted Obama. 9 of 10 of the worst educated states voted Romney.

#1 reason I voted for Obama is he is black, as am I, the first black president, but I will tell you this, I honestly hope the left and the right will meet in the middle somehow because our country needs to be united and we have problems that divided government will never fix.
