Fine, but don't board there!!!
When I went to pick up my dog she was wet... when I asked why and they told me they had to give her a bath bc her feet were covered in sh*t. I assumed bc of the floor in the kennels, but no... bc of the play yard they informed me! As I was walking out and looked, the huge play yard has a land mine every 2 feet. It was the grossest thing I had ever seen.

That, and my husky pup became very sick from being left wet. It is very hard to get a husky's fur wet, but once you do you HAVE to dry them completely bc they can get hypothermia very very easily.

It used to be better! There was a guy there that absolutely loved my dog so when we had her boarded, he would take her outside to play on his breaks and any extra time he had. He's gone now.... It's been a few years ago, but after coming back from vacation they told us that they had to put a halo on her because she tried to bite someone when she got out of her cage. Anyone ever heard of a halo on a golden retriever?!? Lol. The next time we left her, got my girl home and all of the fur had been wripped off of her neck, the area was bleeding pretty badly, and infected. Apparently a hot spot and they had left her collar on anyway... But it's still probably the best place around sadly.... She stays at tri state vet (I believe that's what it's called) now since she's older and needs to be treated with care.

Yeah a wet dog is very dangerous.... I never allow mine to get wet and if by chance he does get ANY moisture on him I make sure I dry EVERY hair! I separate every individual hair and make sure it is dry. The reason: hypothermia..... It kills many dogs every year.... Even in summer months. So dog owners take heed.

Good post there buddy... We can all learn from it.

The grooming staff is amazing and treats your dog like their own. They really make an effort to get to know your dog and after only a few visits knew my dog by name. It's nice to walk in and the groomer say "hi Sophie!" and for my dog to be so happy to be there. I always ask for the little blonde joy but they all do a great job. I won't be taking her anywhere else.

Try to take my yorkies there to be groomed, only had one problem with the grooming area, My teacup barks alot and when I went to pick her up she was in a cage in a dark room, I made some waves over that, but do love the groomers, Valerie in particular she is great. Now on the other hand would never ever again board them there, sent every thing they needed and nothing was touched except for their treats, umm, we were gone a week so it makes me wonder did they eat at all or given water, because all of their food came back to me!

Agree 100%!

I am still laughing at the earlier stooge who wrote how dangerous it was to have a wet dog cause it causes hypothermia....... That's a freakin riot.
