Hey genius! Since you brought up statistical studies and research, you may understand that each study is different and it truly depends on which one you look at as to whether or not states with the death penalty have higher crime rates. Now that being said, bring on the killing!

This being said, what is your evidence that the death penalty would change anything? Taking others' lives into our hands and trusting the court system to be right is a pretty big step; one I don't believe we have any right to make.

And murderers have no right to do what they do. At least with the death penalty, we know that murderers will not kill again.

So what about the people who get convicted wrongly? You really think the legal system has no flaws? You trust it enough to say you're completely comfortable with this reality. You need to do some introspection...
