When/where are there 'trunk or treats' around Huntington? Anyone know of anywhere doing it Nov 2nd or 3rd since it's the weekend after Halloween?

What is a TRUNK or treat? Is it like a choice between candy or a ride in the car trunk? That sounds weird. Seriously, what is it?

Seriously? They really sit in the trunks? Good grief. That sounds uncomfortable.

Sounds like a good way for a child molester to kidnap kids, idiots.
Kid walks up to creepy guy with candy and an open trunk.
Guy grabs kid, throws kid in trunk and drives off.
I sure hope none of you are letting your child go up to trunks all alone!

It is the 26th 6-8 according to the signs.
Nancy it is a very very well lit and friendly population. I have taken my son every year for 4yrs now this being his 5th and it is a wonderful time for the children. As far as the grab and go type situation you suggested as a possibility. Yes anything is possible but it would be darn near IMPOSSIBLE for said molestor to make an exit without hundreds of people dragging them through a window or something. But yes all parents should still watch their children closely just as they would anywhere else.

There's also one at a church in Chesapeake, but it's Halloween night 6-8.
