I have not been thru it as I don't drink thus don't drink and drive. However since you asked I plan to get "toasted" today and will then drive thru Huntington at a high rate of speed with my emegency flashers on while screaming " burn baby burn" out my window.
That should do it I think. So let me get back to you in a few months and I will have a full report.

Jim, always willing to help out

It's easy. Just be there on your days and on time and don't be drinking and don't been seen in a bar during the six weeks of your program. Everything else is easy and boring and expensive.

The classes are extremely boring. More than half of the time you're watching DUI movies from the 70s. They do 2 random blow test & one drug screen. You can not have any kind of drug in your system or you will have to retake the classes & spend another $400 for the classes. You have to pay $40 for your drug screen. Never miss a day of class or you'll have to wait weeks & even a month to retake it. Don't be seen drinking anywhere bc the people who teach the class go out & if they catch you, you're kicked out of the classes. The "test" you have to take is the same test you take when youre filling out the paper work for the classes in the beginning.

Do they test for alcohol every week?

Since: Jun 12

Location hidden

They told me in the beginning it consisted of 2 test. You pay $80 total =2 test. One was in the entry review. And I thought she said the last was on your exit interview? She also said random test would be if you they suspect drug use. And to dude with the rude comment. I wasn't even drunk. Know the facts before running your mouth and wasting time on topix.

6 whole weeks, then back out there drinking and driving, potentially killing someone, only to get off with another addiction filled excuse. Loser

To boozehound.....I haven't drank since my dui and again I wasn't drunk. I plan to get in the programs to speak to others because I am glad nothing traggic happened. Actually u can kiss my ass. Tell me you have never went to dinner and had a few beers! Well that would be a dui.You will be next just cause karma is a bitch and so am I!

No I don't drink out unless I have a ride. So , so much for your "karma", most dui's end up repeat offenders.

what will happen if I start my DUI classes late I mean I'm only 19 days late because I didit have the money but they told me at first I have to have job before I can start and I sold my car just so I can start and I have to go back to court sep 6 to show them that I finished my classes and I gotta do it for 6 months.

Here is my best rationale for you....Shane.

1: you are starting your classes late ... Cause you are a loser.
2: you didn't have the money... Cause once again... You are a loser.
3: you didn't have any money cause you don't have a job ... Cause once again you are a loser.
4: you had to sell your car cause you don't have any money cause you don't have a job cause ....once again you are A LOSER.

Bottom line is you are a big loser! Good luck...

You had money to go out drinking, but you didn't have money to take the class?!? Like Jim said, LOSER
And to the mom...I go out and eat a lot, but I've never ordered an alcoholic drink. You see, a low life loser like yourself, only had two drinks, but not she was not drunk, just a little impaired, crashed into my cousin, hit her head on and instantly killed her six years ago. The witch only ended up in the hospital for a few days with scratches and broken arm. But, she "wasn't drunk".
Does your meal taste any differently without the alcohol? If you can't go out and eat without an alcoholic drink, you're a drunk!!!

Agree with Jim and Ben. I do think they could turn many of these losers around if they just went ahead and immediately locked them up for a mandatory 6-week rehab the very first time they were caught DUI. Six weeks out of their lives could save the whole life of many other people killed by drunk drivers.

I do not know the whole 'idea' that the American citizens have with 'alcohol' and their tolerance level or even their personal 'reasons' as to why they consume it.
What I do know is that where I am from, alcohol is used to lower the inhibitions in a socialistic setting. In other words, if certain settings bother you sober, a few nips will allow you to look beyond those things and carry a logical conversation without the burden of the settings.
Our tolerance and our views are NOT of the US's standpoint. We do not drink to get "drunk". Alcohol is not used for 'parties'. We have a little wine/beer with lunch and dinner, a few drinks after dinner... it is all in how you manage your ownself. Either way, in our society a human will "soberly" control themselves or show control within an "intoxicated" (illegally in this state) frame.
If you cannot be in control of your self while sober, why would you get intoxicated and think you can control yourself then?

Not quite sure what you are saying but I think I agree with you.
