Hi,

Just wanted to help anyone struggling to save money on the school supplies that are right around the corner. I have gotten jeans, clothes, purses, shoes and all kinds of great deals. I like to help people. that is why I am posting. Hope this helps someone.

How can you save money by spending it on e-bay? Deposit it in the bank. Kids do not need purses for School, you are a jokester.

I wish they didn't need purses. I have 3 teenage daughters. A rising 9th grader, 10th grader and senior. You obviously do not have girls. They are very expensive. I have gotten 30.00 american eagle purse for 3.99. I wouldn't pay that at a dollar store. Its hard when they want name brand and I have a beer budget. So....
No jokes here. I also have a rising 5th grade son. He doesn't want a purse but GIRLS ARE GIRLS With pressures to have nice things and I was just sharing how I am able to do it as a single mom.
Sorry to offend you if I did

And I do not just buy purses. I bought Levi's, Guess and American Eagle Jeans for 5 to about 8 dollars. Cowboy Boots for 9.99 worn once that were 69.99 regular. Can't do that at even a dollar store. I was just trying to help others. I use coupons and I also save my money in a bank. Sad when you can't give someone a tip to help people anymore.

Girls are expensive. I agree with the eBay. I have also seen second hand shops in cities that are very selective on their products. I have a feeling that goodwill is cherry picked by employees before it ever makes it to the floor. Good Luck.

My gramma used to tell us kids, "You can want in one hand and sht in the other. See which fills up first." That's old school wisdom that's fading away from today's me first culture. Maybe you should teach your girls not to try to live above their means. Something like don't have four kids when you can only afford two.
Yes I have 4 kids and Yes I could and can afford them. Thank you
My Husband Passed away in July of 2008. I have done what I can to give my children what I can since he passed. I do a good job and tried to help others. People need to not judge others when you don't know there situation... I use Ebay and Coupons and don't live above my means. I save money and give my kids the best. Did you even read the post. I would spend more at a dollar store. Good luck to you and Yes I do live within my means. Thats why I buy Excellent Lightly used clothes off ebay and Use coupons daily.
God bless you

I agree and I do not go to Goodwill anymore after I watch a news special how they have an online action for there products and the CEO make Billions while they pay disabled people as little as .28 cents an hours to work for them. Very sad. I have donated so much to them and they are getting rich and helping only themselves. Very Sad. I try to help everyone. That is why I posted the post. Just to help families to save money.

Thank you. I was just trying to help my fellow mankind.
I have a friend who remodeled there home off ebay and Thrift shops for just penny's. I was just trying to say that if people are feelin pressure of the upcoming school year as I am. Ebay is a great place to save money while you are relaxing watching tv with you kids and my Kids Love it and I save money. My daughter wants to say why buy a 15.00 or 20.00 purse or jeans at walmart on sale that is cheap and falls apart when she can get a Name brand that unique and nicely made for a third of the price even if its used.
God Bless You & Yours.

One thing for those who found this helpful.
There is an Ebay app so if you are watching an item it will alert you when its getting ready to end so you don't miss it.
Thanks and God Bless all

If I have stuff that I want to get rid of, I would rather take it to a place that will give it to someone in need for free!!!!Like echo, salvation army or a church that helps people!!!

Goodwill just keeps jacking the prices up!! Jeans 6.00$ and I seen a fake LV purse and they wanted 25$ for it. I told the lady it was fake and asked why is it that much, she said they have set prices!!! U can buy the fake ones from 25$ to 35$ new!!! I hope no one paid that much for it!!! It was at the Milton goodwill!!! I will not look at clothes a goodwill now that they have changed everything!! Barboursville goodwill had stained stools for 15$ each... Lol they r 30$ new at walmart for the same ones and broken outdoor furniture for 50$... That's crazy!!

I agree GoodWIll is out for themselves. They pay disabled people .28 cents an hours and CEO and Corporate Offices making millions and billions. Plus they put good stuff now on their own online auction Goodwill site. Are you kidding me? They are a racket and somebody needs to shut them down. Its not fair that you don't deserve more than .28 cents an hour because you are disabled. Our Government needs to fix it. Watched it on That Rock with brian williams maybe I think it was on NBC. It is crazy. I will never donate to them again.
I do enjoy purchasing on ebay. There are lots of families selling and buying on ebay to save money. I believe life is about helping each other. I am just starting to sell my old stuff on ebay now. If I just get money to spend on ebay. I will be happy. I have only listed one item and postage is very hard for me to grasp but I'm working on it.

What do you perfer to buy on Ebay? An item you bid on or and item you can just buy and pay for if you want it. You can list it as a fixed price or an auction. Opinions please
