Parents, if your child is in trouble year after year, why do you continually think it is the schools fault? The common denominator is your child.

I do not see how some parents can believe the lies their children tell them over and over. Parents, listen up now. Might be hard to believe but YOUR KIDS ARE FAR FROM PERFECT.

Normally it is NEVER the schools fault for your child’s poor academics or behavior, it is normally THE PARENTS FAULT. Let that resonate and ring in your mind for a while. Stop blaming everything on the teachers and school system.

unbelievable that someone who is suppose to be a professional would post something like this, i do believe some children can be problematic but this should be where that drive that made you want to be a teacher should kick in if you see a child that might benefit from some encouragement or just a little more guidence use you head ome up with something to hang on to that child not all kids are inhieritly bad just sometimes all they need is someone to reach out to them, i can tell you from my own experience in jr.high we had a teacher who was very bad about degrading a student and insulting them when they were at the board answering a question i decided early in that class i would just stay in back or be a smart a** but no way did i want to be embarressed, now you have no idea what may or may not be going on at home with this child, every profession has those that go the extra mile to help someone i know many wonderful teachers who are excellant and try to reach each and every student, i also know bullying when i see it, and sometimes you might wonder if a child is having problems year after year as you put it, it could be someone has a personnal grudge..

and i am sure many do, likewise i know a lot of adults that lie also..pretty much this is why they are considered children and require some adult input, and if by chance one of those or some of those teenagers make improvement in their behavior why would an adult teacher not acknowlege and try to build on that. but opinions everyone has one doesn't mean yours or mine is right but i do know being a teenager in this day and time is difficult and sometimes just some words of encouragement go a long way, give it a try and if you truely are in the education field and have these types of feeling i would suggest you find a new line of work, becuse otherwise it sort of sounds like a surgeon who hates blood..

Hey, I'm a student at Cabell Midland and while I respect my teachers some of them are just as bad and abuse their power. You have no idea what goes on in your student's lives...Ecspecially since most of you NEVER ask.. You automatically assume the kid is trouble and write them off as such because it's easier that way. Also, its a school of over a thousand students your going to have kids who straight up don't give a f***. Its that way in society too, not just Cabell Midland students!! I know a few teachers who could care less also.

I can't speak for behavior in school but I have had several very negative experiences with punk CM kids in my neighborhood.
And the parents are just about as worthless.....

With the way the system has taken away the parents right to discipline our kids Im not surprised with all the trouble thats happening. Im not suggesting beating a kid black and blue but you cant even spank a kid in public without wondering if someone will call the cops. On the other hand there are parents out there that think no matter what the situation is their kid can do no wrong. Their child can murder someone in cold blood but would figure out away to blame anyone else but the kid. Either way I see this countrys future going down the crapper.

I will tell you what, these spoiled brats need their butts spanked at home and AT SCHOOL. Give the power to paddle back to the teachers and principals starting in elementary all the way up to high school. You will be amazed at how much better these troublemakers behave.

How you thought that by simply reading the persons post defies logic.

Please get your mind out of the gutter and seek professional mental help.

I don't think it's fair for a teacher; someone we're trusting our children with all day everyday, to get on here and talk all this. No, kids these days r far from perfect! Teachers r wanting all their students zombified on hyper medicine while they have em. They took away us parents and the schools right to bust their ass and that's exactly what's wrong with most. But if u feel the way u do abt the children then sounds to me u need to find a new profession bc I damn sure don't want u being n e my kids teacher

Teachers pay should be based on performance. They are the whiniest profession out there.

News Flash... THEY ARE CHILDREN! If you don't want to deal with kids & the attitudes & personalities that go with them, you shouldn't have been a teacher.
