You do know that altered animals (those that are spayed and neutered) are healthier, right?

http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm...

Is there any particular reason you won't neuter your dogs? Sorry to sound rude, but it's ridiculous not to. Especially when there is a low cost spay and neuter clinic in Barboursville that will alter your pet for next to nothing.

Some morons won't neuter male dogs because they think it is some reflection on their own manhood, like some idiot mouthbreathing redneck.

Are you serious? Ignorance at its best. Just know that whenever you take your dogs to the vet (if you even do that) everyone at the vet, including the Dr, are shaking their heads at you and thinking of how stupid you are. Just remember that. And that's a fact.

I apologize! Sometimes I forget that there are many people like yourself on Topix for which more than a three-page picture book is considered too difficult to read. Making it a priority to "dumb down" an honest and thorough response to make it acceptable and understandable for your population often slips my mind because I am used to dealing with the percentage of the population for which three short paragraphs isn't exactly considered challenging reading material! But, I will attempt to take your "advice" into consideration in the future. I surely hope this post wasn't too difficult for you, as well.
Totally agree. They rip me about that sometimes, too, and I can never understand why morons think it's smart and funny to say "Too long, didn't read!"

When they announce that, they are letting the world know that reading is super hard for them. Just makes them look stupid. Ooooh, you declared your poor reading skills! THAT really put me in my place. Burn! LOL :)

Because you have a finite attention span on a message board. I'm always going to skip the message board novella for the article written by someone who gets paid to do it.

An application is apples to oranges, because it's a document you're agreeing to or using to convey information to get something you want. This place, on the other hand, is a damned bathroom wall.

Explain, please...what has an application to do with anything?

Also, how long are the articles you're reading? Do you seriously consider longer posts here "novellas"? The longest post one is allowed here is around 3,500 words. Fairly often I post around 1,500.

In the interest of my better understanding my fellow man, please be serious...is it honestly difficult to read (at most) a couple of thousand words? I've timed it. That only takes me about 30 seconds. I'm honestly curious...what do you consider an article? Can you give me an example of a magazine that you are comfortable reading?

Posts here are measured in characters, not words.

If the post a) cannot be read in ~30 seconds or b) is so wrought with poor grammar and punctuation that reading it is as frustrating as untangling old Christmas lights, I won't read it. If I see an abnormally long post here, I'll assume it's a giant rant and skip it.

What the hell does any of this have to do with the 2nd Amendment, or even the Constitution in general?

BTW, you still haven't told us what magazines have articles you enjoy. I admit I was confused about "characters" and "words", but now that I see you were right about that, it just proves that the max. length for posts is even shorter than I thought.

I answered your question. Would you care to answer mine?

I read most things online, but I have subscriptions to the HD and to Rolling Stone, The Economist, and ESPN The Magazine. Locally I read the HD, Chas. Gazette/Daily Mail, the WV Record, and WSAZ. Nationally, I read from many different sources but I frequently read articles from WaPo, Politico, CSM, NPR, and watch/read stories on CNN, and NYT. Drudge is a guilty pleasure.

Better question, what difference does it make what I like to read? I don't personally qualify Topix posters as worthy of more type space than I previously mentioned, my own self included. What I usually read is irrelevant, as my choice simply reflects an opinion. Lighten up, Francis.

I'm having fun. You're the one who seems to be of the "Too long, didn't read" camp, so I was wondering if you were struggling. There are tutors. The Herald Dispatch is so full of misspellings, idiotic grammar and just general ignorance that it really doesn't even count as a newspaper.

If you think I'm struggling, you're letting your hate of me interfere with your common sense.

There's nothing wrong with reading from a variety of news sources from the community in which you live. They're not going to get any prizes, but I don't read it because of its award-winning nature.

Where are you getting the idea that I hate you? I don't hate you. Geez, I'm just interested in your viewpoint, and frankly find you interesting. That doesn't mean I agree with you, but it doesn't mean I hate you, either.

Good grief, if I hated you, believe me, you'd know. Have you done something to me personally that I don't know about? Do you think everyone who has different thoughts than you HATES you? Really?
