A Huntington lawyer is currently helping convicted child molesters and pedophiles get out of prison early. I guess it's a good paying business, but it's so sad for families who expect the convicted felons to spend more time in prison. The parents and the victims must now try to cope with this for a long time. The lawyers, the judges, and the state must not have any morals. This lawyer must be having a field day doing this. Maybe God will judge this person by what he does on earth. Everyone has told me that their is nothing a family can do when a judge makes a decision on early release. If the lawyer had kids that were violated by someone I am sure things would be different.

It is the way of the world. Everything wrong and unjust is being promoted as good.

This shows that some lawyers do not have any morals. I look at molesters as snakes, and the acting lawyers are the snake handlers. The prison system should have a professional committee that includes the victims and their families. Instead they let judges release these scums without telling the families. Seems like our state wants to please the molesters by letting them out of prison early.

Not defending them, but when they pass the Bar & become an attorney, they take an oath to represent all. If they take the case & do not do their job in defending their client, then they take a chance for getting disbarred.
Same situation, a Dr. having to save the life of a criminal, if injured.

If it was your child who was the victim I'm sure your thoughts would be different. If you are sentenced for 15 years then you should get 15 years. I know a man who got 4 years plus while he was sentenced for 20 to 50 year for raping little children. Now he is out. Has justice been serve. No, No, No, No, No, No. The prison system in West Virginia sucks. Lawyers don't work for free, but this molester had some money. People like Proctor should not be allowed to represent a prisoner during confinement. Let the scum finish his time, laws need to change and the public needs to be aware of the molesters who are roaming our streets and preying on innocent kids. This man now lives beside of a family that has two little girls. Pedophiles never change. Every one should be castrated. Going to call ACLU because cannot get no help in West Virginia to put this pervert back into prison.

If you can't create a defense for those that appear guilty, chances are you won't develop the skills to help the innocent.

Then you'd either be a penniless lawyer, or one who didn't do criminal law for long.

Why does the state allow a lawyer to represent someone who is a convicted felon in prison. This is so bizarre to me. This man raped and molested two innocent children. He does no deserve freedom, but he is now home because after serving four years the judge reduced his sentence because the lawyer (Proctor) kept poking at the judge to let him out early. All rapists needs the death sentence.

I bet if one of you guys was falsely accused of a terrible crime, you'd be singing a different tune about lawyers.

No one was fasly accused during the trial. It's just that the old molester is free. Out of 73 years of his miserable life he has spent 10 years plus in prison. Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and was facing 20 to 50 for molestation, but got 4 years and a few months. People like this are worthless and do not deserve a second chance. Just cannot understand why the system wants to let these snakes out of prison early.

Will go to my grave without understating why molesters cannot spend their actual sentencing. Why let them out early? Is it because we feel sorry for them? I truly believe the system sort of forgets about the victims. Well, I don't feel sorry for none of them. The victims needs all the support they can get and the molesters need to get their entire sentencing. Court system is a big joke. The victims are the ones who were hurt. Just cannot comprehend the release process. Would some of the Senators who work in Charleston agree with letting a person out off prison who molested their kids? No, that person would never be let out because the Senators are so important.
