I heard about these apartments from a friend of mine. I heard the rent goes based on your income. Anyone know anything else about this place? Like if they allow pets or if they accept young families??? Trying to find out info for another friend!

Yes, they accept families. I've known one or two families that live their. Nice people. Have their own security officers that walk around of the evenings.

They do not allow any pets. They are constantly fighting a stray cat problem actually. There are alot of disabled people there and single moms with kids and boyfriends that pretend not to live there. Not the best place in the world, but good until you get on your feet. A lot of people are on drugs there so watch your kids closely.

The Bluff is a hole - let's be honest. That said, it can be nice if you're down on your luck.

My husband and I lived there and it was alot of help getting on our feet with a newborn. Rent is based on your income. A police officer lives there also. You can have a bird or fish with no deposit. We never had a problem. Nice 2 story bath and a half all carpet, large closets. The only problem we had is no AC in back room and during summer the heat was unbearable :(

They are very strick on cleanliness, they check your apartment once a month !!!

There is a guy named Jay that visits his mother up towards the office they sit outside with a golden retriever I do believe.... he somehow has gained access to the apartments and was able to relock an apartment after breaking into it. So watch out tenants in case he has a master key or something he came in on one person already so if you have anything he wants he could do the same to you.

I am a current tenant of fb. Its a decent place but the rent can be high depending on your income. Your rent will prob be anywhere from 200 to 550 depending on income. Its safe and quiet for the most part but there are a few rotten eggs but those are everywhere. They are strict on cleaning duties and making sure your housework is getting completed especially if you have more than one child. Most tenants are friendly but 7026 is a prostitute and heroin addict. She will steal anything. Other than that scank, its a decent place to live.

Trust me, YOU dont want to move there. Drug addicts all over the place. One time they left a girl outside on a lounge that had odd in stead of calling 911. Apartments get broken into all the time. Specially out back. It's not a good place to live. That cop & security guard don't do nothing! If you have kids...You would be foolish to move there. you've been warned.

The security officer can't do anything because he not allowed to. The police officer does what he can do. If it it reported to 911, then they call him or send officers to the apartments. Thank You

He unfortunately has to live there and I know why. I have cop friends. That does not mean he wants to deal with all that crap in his off time. More than likely, if he's not married he stays away as much as possible. Truth is Forest Bluff is full of mostly drug users, thieves, and looser who have no plans to better themselves and get off the system. I have family that lived in the new sub division next door and my friends mentioned previously.I'm quite aware of what really goes on over there.
Thank you.

Thing is he has that apt for free because when he is home he is suppose to help out and keep an eye out.

First off you're not an ex employee. He does not as well as any of the other ones that live at the other building do not get it free they pay a certain amount just like you do. So stop lying. It is not a good place to live if you have children . It is nothing but a drug apartment complex. So shut up and stop telling lies. As well as the fact if he does not live there to patrol the apartment complex. Has a full time job as a cop. He may try to help from time to time but it's not his job.

The apartment he lives in is considered a model apt. Originally designated to be shown to potential tenants who want to see an apt. It was also if needed could be a free apt for manager or maintenance man. But debbie back in day decided to allow law enforcement to stay in apt for extra security at complex. So i am not a liar. I know more then you think. Any doubts ask george the owner of the whole place
