Yet it (earth) was described as a circle (round)in isiah. It also speaks of wind and water currents. And its dietary laws pertaining to unclean foods (high cholesterol)are correct as well.
The word they used that was translated to circle was always used to describe the shape of a flat disk, like a coin. They had a word for a ball or sphere shape but it wasn't used there. Just google for drawings of what ancient men thought the earth looked like. It's a flat circle. The bible is certainly written from a flat earth point of view.

Example: Satan takes jesus up a high mountain and shows him all the cities of the world. That only works with a flat earth.

Of course you only think in 3 dimensional terms, the spirit realm lies in other dimensions.Even string theory attests that there are perhaps up to 12 dimensions. When Christ returned to his disciples on the first day of pentacost he walked through the wall. This could only have been done on the quantum level.Need to think outside the box.But of course liberals with the exception of scientists dont have the imagination to believe anything beyond what they can only look upon. Its called faith.

Trying to stick to the subject, the OP is right. I try HARD to keep Thanksgiving and Christmas about family. I have very few family left, and they are precious to me. It's important to make good memories. I wish I had my grandparents again, holidays at their house. I can't recall what gifts they BOUGHT me, but I remember like yesterday my Grandmother's meals and her beautiful table, and my Grandpa's stories. Shopping on Thanksgiving and Christmas is a bad idea. I don't really approve of it on Christmas Eve, either. And Black Friday is flat out dangerous.

Sorry, lwp, we were, at least I thought we were, discussing the context and general use of a translated word.

Must be made up if you don't agree with it. Screw sourced material if it goes against your narrative, right spermon?
I thought even someone as stupid as you would realize everyone has an agenda.Money talks. And those that pay for it see their slant on things gets presented. Some such as conservatism gets based on facts and data while liberals exaggerate, lie, give half truths and would like us to see their world through rose colored glasses, truth be damned. But there lies the problem, conservatism are honest to a fault. This is why they're called racist, religiously bigoted, etc. They pull no punches and call it for what it is.The truth.

AIPAC and the ADL are who's destroying Christmas and other celebrations by Christians. They want a godless world so that they can then unleash their true faith, which is Satanism. They worship Lucifer. There's facts to prove this. Google is your friend.

Liberals are the ones doing the majority of mass shootings. I bet more of them are child rapists as well.
