[Daddy]

Well the signs are coming down and I want to thank all of you for your comments. It's been a struggle with both my X and her family but I can tell you after recently spending 2 weeks with my children that they love calling me daddy and telling me that they love me. When they are away from this Narcissistic family they are great children and nothing can separate our bond.

On another note, I finally got a court order to force my X to allow my children to have a picture of me in their bedrooms.

There are many more mothers and fathers out there that are in a much more difficult situation then I’m in and I wish you all the best.

I am happy for you,I wish you all the best.My oldest son went through the samething for years and spent thousands of dollars, and finally ended up getting full custody of his son, he was 4 1/2 when my son got custody and hes 16 now.And now the mother wants nothing to do with her son.She signed away her rights for a car.Shes a pathetic person with no heart.

I am a women with three kids and think you are ridiculous with your child support theory. I don't think it's right to do that to the daddy's just because they may not have enough money. According to you if I don't have enough money to buy my children a pair of shoes or enough food they shouldn't call me mom.

There's a daddy out there that wants to have the same loving relationship with his children that their mother is privileged to have. There's a daddy out there that wants’ to hear his kids excited and call him daddy and tell him they love him when he calls. There’s a daddy out there that established code words with his children that they say to him when he call’s that mean “I love you Daddy”. There's a daddy out there that travels 1200 miles a month to see his children. There's a daddy out there that loves and adores his children and would do anything for them. There's a daddy out there that is watching a mother and her family try to take his children away and turn them against him. There's a daddy out there in soo much pain. There's a daddy out there having his heart ripped out. There’s a daddy out there tired of the abuse!!

My husband goes through this with his ex. His has had another mans name his whole life. The kid has his mothers and her ex husbands name and my husband tried to have it changed and Judge Anderson wouldn't do it. He is only allowed to come and collect gifts at holidays and birthday and most of the time he calls his dad by first name. It is just a sad situation, women need to realize they are damaging the children.

I thought the sign was referring to a stepdad kinda thing maybe. My children call my husband Dad because their real father has never been their for them and my husband has been. I hate that their real dad doesn't do anything but I am happy that they have someone their for them.
I also called my stepdad dad. My real dad was very abusive and everytime I went around him I was beaten so I just stopped trying and had to tell my mom what he was doing. He didn't even try to see us when we didn't come anymore.
I understand what Daddy is saying too. There are alot of women who do that to their kids and it just isn't right.

Money isn't everything.. just because the dad maybe behind doesn't mean they aren't a great father. Mothers think that keeping their child from them is hurting them, yeah but its also punishing the child!! I don't see why mothers make a huge deal out of child support these days (unless the dad is a drug addict or drunk) but if he is takin care of his kid(s) why bitch about child support???? Mothers remember just bc you and the baby dad can't get along doesn't mean he his a horrible father, just bc he falls behind on child support doesn't mean he's a horrible father.... If u see s/he is being taken care of (clean clothes, being fed, bathed, etc.) then give him a little break. Times are tough these days and its getting tougher. My husband falls behind on his child support to his ex but he he the best father I've seen in a long time, & the ex doesn't keep her away from us just tells us not to worry about it that week or month.. ALL I HAVE LEFT TO SAY IS DON'T KEEP YOUR CHILD FROM THEIR FATHER BC IT NOT ONLY HURTS HIM BUT YOUR CHILD AS WELL...

Have you fathers (dads, daddys, whichever you prefer to be called), ever considered or are you involved in a group or organzation that can help you..........I know this happens on both sides mind you........the manipulation and trying to prove it is not easy........if you have a billboard you could put a number or website on it.......i am sorry for all involved in this battles and pray it soon is resolved..........

what bothers me the most is if you committ a crime you are awarded an attorney if you cannnot afford one, but if you are involved in a custody case you are on your own and if you dont get an attorney and the other parent has an attorney you are screwed.......a decision that affects a child and who they become and if you go into a courtroom without an attorney you are sure to lose your children and chances are good you will be lucky to see your kids one month a year......

My daughters father decided to move out of state and take the easy road rather then stay here and work out his financial situations. He would go from house to house and stay with friends and family till he burnt that bridge and then eventually he either had the homeless shelter or moving out of state to burn more bridges with distant family.

He recently came in to see her and got loud in public at her, getting the attention of the law and then talking unprofessionally with the law getting thrown into jail during his visitation. First in months at that. After posting bail, and before leaving town he wanted to see her. I asked if she wanted to see him and she said "no". So I told him she didn't want to see him. I feel he had his visitation time and if he didn't act like an a** he could of said his goodbyes.

He dont pay support because hes "getting himeself together". He came in with a car and a new phone and even bragged of the new job as well.

I am currently married to a different man who works 40+ hrs a week and takes care of my daughter as if she is his own. I do not force my daughter to have a relationship with either of them, but she called my husband daddy all on her own. She also calls her dad, daddy too. She says she has two dads. I am forever grateful to my husband, he has been in her life for over 4 years now.

I will never hinder my daughters relationship with her real dad, but I will never force one either.
