It doesn't matter what you put online. The point is that facebook openly spies on it's users. It is right there in the terms and conditions of use when you sign up for the site. The creator of facebook even called it's users stupid for giving up so much privacy.

Plus as I mentioned before they place cookies on your computer which track your internet activity even after you log off. Right there in the TOS.

There is no "tin foil head" this isn't some alien conspiracy theory you fucking dipshit. It is public knowledge. You are probably the type to call someone crazy who is concerned with the PAT act or indefinite detention "oh something like that could never exist" when it is on the books and is open public knowledge. You think I am just making this up? You should do more reading.

Facebook is an annoyance in and of itself. A totally needless service created by someone who wanted to rat out chicks and make public people he didn't like.
The only good thing I can say about facebook is that it has become so universally accepted and popular, that it is now a great way to promote your business for free.

People posting crap they'd never say in person. They get brave when they are not in person.

Do you realize how much privacy you really are giving up?

I have nothing to hide either, but I value my privacy. You don't have to be a criminal to want a little privacy. To be honest you sound like some kind of commie. Not having anything to hide is not the point, we are not required to prove our innocence to "the man" constantly. The burden of proof is not on me.
