So, after months of taking on water, draining thousands of non-existent dollars from the City budget, and lots of headlines...a sad looking woman almost cries on TV because she and her "husband" have to move their boat. Give me a freakin break!!!

Don't buy toys you can't take care of!

I think the National Guard should use what's left of that stupid marina and boat club for artillery practice. If that's too expensive, let the Detroit Dudes set up a floating meth lab - they'll burn it down inside a week.

If they gave you five weeks to move it and three weeks later it had to be out of there, I can see how that could be a problem.

Yeah, but emergencies happen. The lady whining on WSAZ just sounds like a spoiled-rotten b*tch. When all else fails, just move the boat to another marina along the Ohio River...there are several of them in the Huntington area.

The boat club was city welfare for David Duffield and Edgar...I forget his name, before him.

Several? How about two, counting the one that is closing. So that leaves one: Adams Landing at the Guyandotte River, which might not have any openings. Keep in mind most large boats don't come with a trailer and require a permit to be hauled on the road. So it's not like these people are left with a lot of options.

There is at least one in Ashland, a small one at Proctorville, and then one up the river close to Crown City. As for the boat being too big, get your eyes checked. Nothing down there now that couldn't be hauled by a pickup on a simple trailer. Nope, this b*tch is just a spoiled rotten piece of whiny trash looking for another government handout. Just glad Steve Williams finally got tired of the sh*t going on and gave that piece of trash barge away.
