Just what I suspected...you're one of those able bodied humans living off the welfare system when you should be doing my yard work, cooking my dinner, and running my children's baths. How about you go to monster.com and get a job.

Found this right above this thread on topix...this is why liberals are calld low information voters. They believe everything their television set tells them and they run with it.

"The Media Research Center claims that in the two week long shutdown, the "124 full stories and brief items about the shutdown" the MRC reviewed blamed Republicans in 41 cases, both sides in 17, and Democrats in none."

Kinda funny how all dem senators are jumping on the delay individual mandate bandwagon. Could have voted for it and not shutdown the government. The administration knew it wasn't ready for implementation. But Obama and chronies were hell bent on no negotiations. Dems know they are in trouble with the people who put them in office.

No, they are asking for an extension of the sign-up period. A few are saying delay but that isn't going to happen.

The problem for your side Charlie is that these idiots went around bragging that they were going to shut down the government and then they did. It's not complicated.
Youre right, its not that complicated...

Funny part is, now the democrats are wanting to pass the same bill that ted cruz and the tea party was trying to push in the first place! Lmao. When ted cruz wanted the delay they called it "holding a gun to americas head" but its ok when democrats do it...got it

President obama refused to negotiate even tho the only thing the republicans wanted was a delay in obamacare... http://m.youtube.com/watch...

Heres obama himself saying " i will not negotiate" lol..
http://m.youtube.com/watch...

"Democrats refuse to look at any bill that delays Obamacare, which the majority of Americans are opposed to, but claim it’s Republicans who won’t compromise.
Democrats blame Tea Party “extremists” for the potential government shutdown, and yet, the Tea Party is only interested in getting government spending under control, something Democrats repeatedly refuse to do.
The Tea Party is a non-partisan group that includes Independents, Democrats and Republicans, not an “arm of the Republican party” as the media claims.
The debt limit is also looming (Oct. 17), and yet, spending is still out of control."
If a budget deal cannot be reached, Republican leadership in the House of Representatives has sent bills to the Senate for temporary FUNDING of important aspects, including social security, air traffic control, etc. Democrat leadership in the Senate (Harry Reid) has REFUSED to look at it."

They wanted to fund only those things of which they approved. They had numerous chances to come to the table to negotiate ad refused each and every one. Now they have to pay the price of their failed strategy.

What you see some Democrats in the Senate talking about is extending the sign-up deadline more than the 1 year extension of the purchase mandate. Yes, Manchin is playing politics by talking 1 year delay but he doesn't mean it. He only does it because it won't go anywhere and he can use it for his next campaign.

Maybe people need to start calling all of the bone-heads in the congress-critters and senate and tell them to start cleaning out their offices in D.C. on both sides. We the people of America need to clean out all of the boneheads both demodolts and repugs and then start over with a new gov that will work for us we the people of America. Whats going on in D.C. is why we need up to a five party system instead of just the same two that have been recking America for the last 45 years if not longer..

We need to start getting rid of the ideologues and focus on electing people who are committed to moving America forward, not spend all their time pandering to people who have no interest in moving anything forward.

Uh, what are you doing getting pregnant again when you cant afford to feed the kid(s) you already have? Seriously, a condom is what,$5? That's a lot less than formula, baby food and diapers. Common sense could get you out of your welfare induced stupor, give it a chance.

Lmao...Thats their job..congress, and only congress, has the power of the purse. Learn your constitution..

"Congress has authority over financial and budgetary matters, through the enumerated power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States. The Sixteenth Amendment, ratified in 1913, extended power of taxation to include income taxes.[1] The Constitution also grants Congress exclusively the power to appropriate funds."

I know that. You understand my point and try to deflect it. The Republicans were, and continue, to desperately try to cherry-pick specific programs to deflect attention from their failure to shut down ACA but success at shutting down government.

They didn't deserve to get anything for their efforts and they didn't. It was a shallow effort to pander to those of the Tea Party. They lost.
