I just wanted to throw this out to the world. HHS cheerleaders need to seriously work on their cheers. I feel like I am at a little league game when I watch them. They want the fan support, but that is really hard when their cheers consist of maybe 4 words and they look like they are just doing jumping jacks. What do you think? Does the new coach need to step up her game a little. I would rather we have no Cheerleaders than what we have now.

I don't care how they cheer as long as they bend over and touch their toes !

Throw this out to the "world". Hmmmm, I doubt the "world" cares what cheerleaders in Huntington wv are doing. And your fans want to do cheers that have more than a few words ? That's odd because you'd think fans wouldn't be interested in long drawn out cheers, I always thought crowd cheers were short like only a few words so the fans could cheer along. Cheer much? Yeah, didn't think so... Lol

Really? These girls are doing a GREAT job! The new coach seems to have her stuff together. I think they are doing a fantastic job. Why can't people appreciate kids working hard and cheering on their team! Get a life people!!

I think the cheerleaders are doing great this year. They are working hard and most importantly they have some pride for a change. The HHS fans should take notes. We had the stands filled up for the game Friday night yet only a few people actually cheered. There is no support or pride for any of these kids at HHS. Listen to the fans on the other side at every other game. They go wild cheering for their kids. Not Huntington! It's sad.

It is so blatantly obvious that you have an axe to grind. First of all, nobody complains about cheer leading. Look throughout topix and see how often cheer leading is brought up. Secondly HHS cheerleading is doing a great job this year. If you aren't happy take your daughter off the team but please don't be a coward and try to attack the coaches on a public forum.

Well kind of funny when I don't have a daughter. I am the proud parent of a son. But I do enjoy helping the cheerleaders, but this squad is a joke compared to other schools I have watched.

Maybe we as fans would HELP the cheerleaders, if they were better. I personally feel like we are at a Youth League Game when watching them. I have always helped the cheerleaders, when I watch my son, but not this year.

Neither I only have a son and have supported the cheerleaders until this year. I think that they need to up their game, I watch other quads and am embarrassed for our girls and the simplicity of their cheers.

Lets not forget the team has a married girl who shouldn't be cheering. She looks pregnant and needs to learn to step up her game

They looked very young to me. Perhaps they're underclassmen and need time. They get the job done.

Why does it matter if she is married or not? She is one of nice people you will ever meet
