Is there any good pain doctors in the area that'll prescribe pain medication?
As in Tramadol or lortab? I was In a bad car wreck and it messed me up bad!
I'm on 5 different meds and they are not helping. I know opening a Thread like this is gonna get some heat.
But I just need honest answers.

Dude good luck, everyone on here is gonna act like theyre jesus Christ himself when it comes to these threads. Act like they never ran a red light or something in their life. Anyway all the doctors that were given out painers r in prison or have their license revoked. I feel u tho, I have bad sciatic from a herniated disc and I couldn't get better than a 800 mg ibuprofen. So what I'm sayin is if u kno someone in the street or something I'd go that route, otherwise ur jus gonna end up with not a damn thing. Docs really won't help much around here, except the ones down in the hood

What do you think about physical therapy training? It sounds like you are having a difficult time managing what sounds like chronic pain, and it would definitely help to see somebody. Although, pain meds are only a temporary fix and tend to make pain worse when they wear off. Therefore, you may benefit to try alternative methods to relieve your pain that aren't pharmacological. Herbal remedies may help but they aren't approved by the FDA so longform sideeffects aren't well known. Sometimes the best medicine is to just keep moving and try to focus on things other than pain. Best of luck to you.

Not trying to bash anyone, but I can tell you that pain meds are NOT the solution to chronic pain. I suffered a bad industrial accident over 15 years ago. For 10 years I followed the doctors' suggestions and took the thousands of pills they prescribed. Before long I was taking more than I should and turning to street deals to find more. Luckily I woke up and kicked the habit before it got out of hand. I am now more than 5 years off of the meds and I can tell you there is a better way. Get lots of exercise and eat well. Start off slow and work your way up to more. At first it will seem to hurt more but before long you will find yourself having pain free days without even realizing it. Then you will find like I did that alot of the pain came from the meds tricking you into taking more. I wish you the very best and I hope you can find some relief that doesn't come from a pill bottle.
