Was the domestic disturbance call legit, or just a way to harass said mayor?

I saw him once next to the deli in Big Bear. Seemed like a no b.s. type of guy.

it think it's not right that he didn't go to jail......if it was just a regular guy and the cops showed up and there was signs of an altercation he would be in jail right now..........and they say there is justice in the world....HA HA!

Fat-ass Felington is the Mayor. In Huntington, the "Good ol' Boy"system is entrenched.
What this town needs is to be torn down and started again. Throw out the criminals, get rid of the methedone clinic and wash the town down the Ohio River. And by Criminals I mean the dirty, underhanded City Leaders. They all take payolla and bribes. They all make kickbacks. Not one of them has ever told the truth.
Mr.Fellington would have you believe the Methedone Clinic was given a liscence illeagally, but yet no one was removed from office or arrested. Fellington shouldn't be arrested for battery to his wife, he (And previous State disgrace Jean Dean) should do time for rape for what they did to this town.

I think, since his good buddy the Mayor of Detroit got busted, he freaked worrying his drug connection was cut off.

Geez, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. It was HIS wife who placed the 911 call. I should think she was serious about it, atleast at that point in time. And, by the way, even "no b.s." guys can be wife beaters.

Please. The fat-ass Mayor will always his drug connection. He opened a methadone clinic and destroyed the First street area. Theft is at an all-time high in that neighborhood. Thank God Kim Wolfe will be the next Mayor!

"e opened a methadone clinic and destroyed the First street area. "

2 things:
1. Methadone reduces drug crime, since they get it for free
2. First was pretty much wrecked before that.

"Thank God Kim Wolfe will be the next Mayor! "

Sheriff's department was running drugs in Huntington forever, why would making it's head the mayor improve things?

"And, by the way, even "no b.s." guys can be wife beaters. "

Very true. But the fact still remain it doesn't look like he did anything.

"if it was just a regular guy and the cops showed up and there was signs of an altercation he would be in jail right now"

True too, but I don't think he or most regular guys would deserve it at all.

I pray Kim Wolfe doesn't become the next Mayor of Huntington. It's common knowledge Kim (and the name fits him) is weak. Everything he's done has been at the prodding of his wife Deborah who is constantly reminding everyone that she was ďMrs. America in 1984.(Who cares?)
Itís Deborah who wants him to be Mayor and hopefully not everyone shares that sentiment.
We need strong, new leadership in Huntington. Persons who are doing it for the good of the city and not for their own personal gain, or because their wives say to.

By WV law, and most State law, whenever the police answer a domestic disturbance call ,and there is a 911 call pertaining to the disturbance, one of the persons goes to jail. It doesn't matter if there is physical evidence of abuse (not all abuse is physical) someone has to leave the home. The police separate the couple, for their protection. The main point is no one was taken out of the home and the Mayor should have beem. Even if he is a "good ole boy" as you think.

For all of those who commented that mayor felinton should have gone to jail & would have gone to jail if he wasn't the mayor, should learn all of the facts to a story before making uneducated comments. If anyone deserved to go to jail its his wife...not him. The only reason this city still has issues is because of ignorant, uneducated idiots like yourself. Mayor felinton has brought nothing but positive change to our city and will continue doing so for the next four years!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, he'll be great. I used to party with him when he ran for re-election. the point I was making wasn't that he should have gone to jail necessarily, but one of the two should have, and since his wife had made a 911 call stating he was banging her head into a brick wall, he probably should have been removed from the residence until things were sorted out. It's simply the law, and we all know he always obeys the law. lol

Only a crook or junkie would support anyone other than Wolfe. The other person running for Mayor has proven he can't do the job. So you support a loser. Well, that's Huntington for you.

Such laws have been shut down in Federal Court, as it bypasses the 14th amendment to arrest someone without due process or just cause.

He wasn't guilty of anything either, so he was okay.

"Even if he is a "good ole boy" as you think.
"

Didn't say he was a good ole boy, I said he was honest, and he's from out of state. If he was a good ole boy, he'd have a building downtown named for him, and he'd have been fighting with his mistress.

"Mayor felinton has brought nothing but positive change to our city and will continue doing so for the next four years!"

Yeah baby! He doesn't have any ties to the dishonest people using the city for their pet projects-he's just a guy off the street, from a family with no ties in maryland.

That seems to tick off a lot of dishonest folk in Huntington, since he won't jump thru hoops like they ask. They can't rip off the town like they were doing, since they don't have pics and witnesses of his mistresses and kids like they do with everyone else, or a big drug tab either-he's just honest, and like Eric Berne wrote, every two timing scum gets mad at someone they can't manipulate, so he takes heat despite his cleaning up stuff.

Go, Felinton, Go!

Since Huntington doesn't seem to follow the constitution, I hope that law gets taken off the books soon. Is there an election coming up, without a guy who heads the local drug distribution network running?

Remember when the cops said they couldn't patrol their drug dealers at 27th street, and he told the lady who complained they'd ride in their car, and the drug dealers were chased off the street by the cop cars, and she was offered a job to help her shut up in Huntington Gov't?

Felinton proved the cops were lying when he did that.

Which is stopping ,since methadone means they get it for free and then don't have to steal. First street was a wreck years before drugs hit. Methadone will have people go to a clinic, and not steal. I think you are just someone who wants to complain, rather than discuss. And each time you do, you advocate for the conservative position, and not helping. After all, if they are getting the med methadone for free, they wouldn't be stealing, so your comment obviously means you aren't reading the post and the articles, either.

"Only a crook or junkie would support anyone other than Wolfe. "

The sheriff's office got shook down for drugs, so the opposite is true-they want the drugs coming in. When our Xmas decorations were ripped off by plez marshall, the sheriff's office came and a guy claiming to be the sheriff gave me his card, and said he'd swear out a warrant. But plez was selling drugs for the local cops, so that was not true-and the people at my church pointed out WV/Huntington people were lying, and that's why they didn't. They want to make it sound like they are doing something, while they cya.

So, I'd say the opposite is true-like I stated before, you are trying to dispirit people so they won't fight back, which is why you keep switching arguments-anything to destroy, right?

I saw a huntington cop accept money from plez too-so the cops were getting money. And I do not have sex with women to get rid of tickets, nor do I do drugs. But you are advocating for people who threatened to kill me since I tried alerting the DEA-and Huntington's corruption was well know at that time, too.

Wolfe-same stuff, different day. Notice how no one advocates for treatment, but just jail? But you guys can't pay for the bill, either, so you are up the creek. The jail and the incarceration aren't panning out, as you can't pay for it.

Why don't we go for more clinics, more treatment, and getting jobs? Who needs more jails and broken families?

1.5 million in the hole, for nothing. No decrease, more murder, and no one helps. Remember when the drug crime went up after the Clinton money ran out? I say, vote obama, bring back that money for the 100k extra cops, and watch things turn around. Huntington wasn't always a drug hell, and there is no reason why we can't back up and start over.
