I thought I knew alot about Mr. Ramey's past until reading this article. Define Shame and humiliation to the (Good) people of Wayne W.V.

The GOOD people of Wayne know about Mr. Ramey's past he has never hidden it from them and obviously you never knew him or you wouldnt have been surprised by the article. Anyone who knows Mayor Ramey knows what a terrible ordeal his siblings, mother, as well as himself had to deal with growing up. So his story is a success story not one of shame or humiliation. He has overcome the odds and went on to be an outstanding person as well as an asset to his community. So please dont be embarrassed for him, you cannot change your past but you can instead learn from it.

For those of us not from Wayne, we can only comment on the article, which is what this sections is for..."comments". I do not know the man and most of us don't, but when it becomes more envolved within "Wayne County" and no longer the small town of Wayne, people begin to get concerned I am sure and all is taken into account. The votes come from the county not the town of wayne, so a good question is...how is he going to get to know the good people of this county and let them know who he is besides just a name? Just a friendly thought.

I grew up in Wayne (21 years), and knew Jr. and his family my whole life. EVERY family in Wayne has had issuses. Some just keep it "under the covers" better than others. Do your homework and get your facts. This man was ALWAYS good to me and my family. Way to go Jr.!!!!!!!!

In my opinion they should get Pennington out of there and the rest of the crooks and put someone honest in there like Hank Blume. He is the only one I know who is willing to clean Wayne Co. up and get the drugs and theives out of here. So if you really care about Wayne Co and you want to have a good place to live in then get Hank Blume in there. He can and will make a difference in Wayne Co.

We will just have to wait and see how he makes himself known through out the county. But he actually does get out of this small town from time to time I am sure and there are a large number of people who know him even some in Cabell county I'd bet. We small town people actually have to come to the big city of Huntington sometimes even though it is so far away. Imagine that people actually vote outside of our small town of Wayne I learn something new almost everyday. Also comments and judgement are two different things.

Everyone makes mistake in there pass,and some changes,some don't.The CPS has dose more breaking of the law.The good people of Wayne has turn their backs on the children.The Mayor of Wayne does not care,the judges don't care.Wayne needs honest people in the CPS offie,a honest Mayor and Judge.,and Polices.I was born in West Virginia,and I am ashame of Wayne.

can someone please tell me how junior ramey has done good for the town of Wayne because i don't see anything different . what do you call doing good for Wayne??(stealing money from the town and using it for his own benefits?? he don't sound very trustworthy to me. Junior is not an outgoing person, he never speaks to anyone other than the people that have dollar signs flashing in their eyes. Hes a crook and always will be. What does he need to be sheriff for he already drives around in the police car, if that will do him justice just let him do that and then maybe we can actually put someone in there that wants to help the town of Wayne. Well,isn't that something, The good people in wayne know about Mr.Ramey's past. He hasn't hidden it. LOL, this is the dumbest thing I have ever heard, Of course we know lisa, he went to prison. He couldn't hide that, but there probably is a lot more he has hid? look lisa, just because his family made a lot of mistakes doesn't give him the right to do the same things. Like one taking the town funds and using that money for his own personal use. You must be kin to have said this, do you know how dumb this makes you sound lisa. And then to say this is a sucess story, has to be the funniest thing I have ever read, He has over come the odds lol. how by stealing from the people of wayne for his own personal use. And you don't want us to be embarressed, I think it's to late for that lisa, but you did say one thing that made since, we will never be able to change the past, TRUE, but we can change the future by not voting for Mr,Ramey, so here is what we have learned and what we can understand in lisa's own words, the ramey family has always been convicts, they have always had family issues, they lie, cheat, and steal from the good people of wayne. and lisa wants us to vote for Mr, Ramey, so he can over come the odds, thats some funny stuff lisa, because the odds are already stacked against us with him as mayor, So he can overcome the odds. How by using his authority as sheriff to cover up things that he does illegal. I am still a Ramey and never tried to hide that fact so I never got busted on anything. Maybe you should also consider that I obviously know him pretty well unlike others who pass judgement. I have known Jr for 11 years and have never seen him do anything illegal that includes"nose candy". These comments come from gossip not facts. I am aware that there are people who dont know him or even like him but it seems that they are content with bashing him on rumors that arent true and dont care to learn the truth so there isnt anything I can say that will educate them on the facts. If you dont try to learn the truth about people you will never see the good in them. I am not effected by others comments on him because I do know him and what a good person he is and no one will change that for me because I actually took the time to see this many years ago as well as many others who know him. Everyone has the right to their own opion and I appreciate that.

Hey,Lisa this is David Dean's wife,i agree with you Junior is a good guy,he has always been good to me and David's family.In the few years I have known him,I have seen the goodness in him,I feel like David or me could come to him if we ever needed to and he would always be there trying to help. Many times he has helped us,as for the people on here bad mouthing him they are probaly some fat old bad guy's that has nothing better to do probally jealous of Junior,some men can't handle knowing they aren't as good as the other so they bad mouth.I have read through comments slamming you, his daughter what get's me is they can write a bunch of crap but don't have the ball's to tell Junior to his face or even leave their name.lol.
