If you get a job as a cashier, it is so not worth it. That's usually all they hire for since the cashiers quit so often. You get a few cents above minimum wage to get walked on. You have permission to do absolutely nothing, but when the line is backed up because you're waiting for a CSM, it's YOUR fault. Even though you aren't allowed to override the system to take a coupon or go do a price check.

They screw you with the schedule too. You can't just write it down once a week. It can change consistently. If it does change, they wont ask or inform you. So it's on you when you don't show for a shift they didn't tell you about.

Wow! Thank you. Can you go to the managers and let them fix the problem?

Only if you print every schedule directly from the website, but in my experience they still try to make you feel like its your fault. I was lucky. It happened to me the first time during my first month (your very first schedule is on paper). So I had something to show, but they told me to check my schedule every day because next time would be my fault.

I work there. They've cut hours n refuse to give more... Yet when there's a call off... They beg you to work over. Then you end up in the office being wrote up because you went past your scheduled hours.
Dont work there

I worked at walmart for 3 yrs as a cashier never again. It sucked big time never got full time hours worked very hard plus their right if someone calls off they ask you to work over your in the office next day. I worked my a$$ off for them and never a thank you or kiss my a$$. My hours were cut all the time couldn't live on 20 to 30 hrs a week. Walmart don't care about their worker's i wasted 3 years of my life working there i would live on the streets before ever going back to work for them. Good luch if you do go to work for them your going to need it.

It`s Walmart. I never seen anyone break a sweat working there. They hire highschool kids with no experience or old slow people who can`t physically do labor. There are more self checkouts then manned checkouts. Every store has multiple price check screens in almost every department. I walk in, shop, check myself out, and leave without even making eye contact with an employee.
A few cents over minimum wage is a few cents over paid.

lol.
I never heard of Leesburg. Yes I`m from the area. I`ve seen my posts flagged from Chicago, Columbus (most of the time), Louisville, Ironton, and a few others. Even though I`m writing from the same location.
I`m not in Huntington right now.
