I had a very pleasant experience with this establishment & must share. For those of you who don't know, they are a low cost spay & neuter clinic (Cats & Dogs) with an excellent Veterinarian & staff. A couple of the receptionist were awful snooty, but the technicians & veterinarian herself are so nice! I think what they do is wonderful, spaying and neutering your pets to keep unwanted litters from being born, mistreated, sent to shelters & most euthanized. I felt they should receive some positive recognition!

Was recently there to buy flea products for my dog and the girl at the desk was so rude!!! Not to mention the outburst that they have a ringworm out break. Be careful pet owners!!! I will not be doing business with them anymore.

Ur dumb. Outbreaks are common at all pet-help companies. Its their job to keep it under control, just like it's your job to keep your pets fleas under control. Don't hastle ppl for trying

How about the receptionist? I recommend a shock collar for her.

Even people in customer service can be goaded into being rude when faced with a rude customer?

Your absolutely right. That should not however carry on to the next customer in line who has absolutley nothing to do with the situation. Made my experience quite unpleasant. Not to mention a lobby full of customers. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who got the attitude. She should be dealt with. I still think a shock collar is a good idea.

Now their behavior is different. I'd probably agree with that. I know some of the staff there so they'd prolly know who's being a bitch behind the counter, but just rest assured, once Ur pet get beyond that receptionist bitch, it's in the very good hands of the staff I kno in the back. Especially Dr.Kelley. She is very very skilled and really stands by the name "Help for Animals" And her assistants in the back r awesome too. So let the secretary get mad cuz all she is is a secretary, everyone else is awesome

The next time you are the next person in line... ask the person who is being rude what their problem is and why they are being so rude. You probably won't get an answer but you will put a smile on the face of the employee who is taking the abuse. Just remember, we all have bad days and shouldn't be judged by one instance.

I'd like for you to take the time and visit this place. Then tell me what you really think. The lady infront of me was elderly, & not rude. I was saying 'next in line' as an example. This young lady has no respect and should NOT be at the FRONT of the counter. Her superiors should be ashamed.

I have been to HFA many times and have found all of the girls wonderful. Maybe that daqy the young lady at the desk was having a bad day as yuou or I would. It wasn't right to gripe in front of others but sometimes our mouth doesn't think before it spouts words we wish didn't come out.I would have ask if there was anything I could have done to help. Maybe they were short handed and things were backing up? Maybe they need help-care to volunter? Please don't be angry over one bad day. Give them another chance, talk to the girls and I bet you will find them helpful, nice and really caring people.

I've dealt with the receptionist several times and she is always rude. I try and be as nice as possible to a person hoping they'll treat me with the same respect and I never get that respect. I also know several people who have had to deal with nothing but rudeness from that receptionist. Management needs to have a discussion with her or fire her.

You have contact with the director as stated above. Don't make the entire clinic look unreputable on this evil website. Especially because of one employee. Focus on the good work they are doing, If you read the first post I had a really nice visit, & have even told friends who now come. Dr. Pinkston is very nice, and her staff behind her are so generous & seem very professional. I would recommend their care and experience with any of my animals

Big thanks to Help for Animals for the wonderful job they do. I personally have never had a bad experience there with any of the staff. But for the amazing job they do with ALL of my animals at that low of a cost, they could be a b*tch to me all they want. I'm there for my pets/rescues, not a social gathering.

I have used their services many times and am also a fan. I havent had any bad experiences with the receptionist either, though I am sure its a high stress job. Its always busy, which is a good thing. I wish we had more places like help for Animals available in the community!

HFA is a great place with caring people. I have had several of my pets spayed there and we had no problems. They are very busy especially at drop off first thing in the morning, but to me it was well worth the wait in line to get my pets taken care of at a huge discount. I also noticed the office was very clean.

Would you want the a doctor to cut on you with a scalple from her last patient? The set up like an assembly line bringing the animals through. How do they get it done so cheap? Shortcuts that would turn your stomach.

I was doing the right thing I will never step a foot back in that place
