To me that seems very weird. I just know if it was me I would want everyone's help and I would be as opened as possible without hurting the case as I would imagine anyone would if they we're trying to find their missing loved one. The only reason I asked what area he lived in is because if it was not a suicide his body could have been dumped near the house and car abandon on the bridge to throw off the search and if it was a suicide he didn't leave a note so why park the car there? None of it makes sense really. If I was going to go commit suicide but not leave any information about that like no note I most currently would not leave my car at my suicide spot. If the statement about cancer is true and he did in fact love his wife he would have left a note stating he ended his own life because he could not deal with the cancer. A lot of sleepless nights if he had that on his mind surely he told someone or wrote something.

To: Charlena Don't be upset, this happens a lot when searching for a missing person, a lot of time the police doing the investigation will tell the family what information that they can give out and what they can't. I believe there is several reasons for this, one being protection for his family, second the police have more information than they are saying because of the investigation, the police have already searched the river, tug boats goes up and down that river on a daily basis, maybe the police don't want us getting to close for our own safety, I can go on and on, but you get what I am saying, this family is probably just a frustrated as we are because they can't give out more information.so please don't give up, this will only make you a better researcher.
so what?

More like the Barney Fifes that work on local police forces don't want any help because a) they don't care b) if someone found the person besides them it would show their incompetence c) they know more than they are letting on.. Just sayin

Well you know the longer he is gone the less chance they have of finding him, or what happen to him, gone long enough and evidence is destroyed, this seems to be a very close nit family, and friends. However I do believe the HPD said in their statement that they need the public help in finding this missing person, I will go back and check that statement, also he is listed in the project Jason, so that makes it public. For all those trying to find out where to look for him when the weather gets better, just keep posting, and soon or later something will turn up. I am a little concerned that his dad has not made a statement. I don't think that his wife has made any since the night he disappeared, it's been almost 2 months why is the sister handling everything? I know first hand the devastation of losing someone, and yes it takes a while to sink in, however this has been a long time. but don't give up, search every paper, talk to anyone that might know something. Keep posting,

Do some of you realize that there are threads for other cases? This one is entitled "missing girl" and was started about Diane Bess with the hopes of getting information about her and her case. Please let this thread be for that case..

I wasn't trying to start an argument. I just thought it might be better for people to not have to look through a few different posts for information.

not an argument, but when you are searching for leads, you take what you can get. but you are right I would like to start a new post for our missing man, but will have to stay with the ones jumping around as long as we are getting post. Think of a new way we can attract people to read the post and we will try to get it started. Every idea helps . thanks again.

Im personally glad another topic was started for someone else because this girl was found, rip, and everyone was just continuing to gossip and say hurtful things back & forth to each other. I dont think that was the intended purpose. Now that she is found we can focus on helping another family find their lovedone. Theres nothing wrong with that & if its keeping these other people from arging with each other then please continue the conversation

It is hard to believe that HPD hasn't made an arrest yet on this case. I hope when they do whoever is found guilty serves a full term of a life sentence without a chance of parole because this young lady lost her life. RIH

Why is it hard to believe that there has been an arrest yet? It does take time to build a case. People don't realize that the police only get ONE shot at a trial. Isn't it best to get all the evidence for a conviction rather than to make a hasty arrest and case? Otherwise a hasty case will just give the suspect a chance of walking. I am sure no one wants the responsible party to walk away just because the public wanted a quick arrest. This isn't tv, things don't get solved in 15 minutes.

A family member of Diane's posted this on her Facebook a couple of days ago...

"Getting justice for my cousin is coming closer and closer. Hope you rot in hell you bastard!!"

Whose house have the police been to over and over, whose car have the police looked at, etc... Theres your answer!

They probably know who it is and so does everyone else but the police have not released the information yet because they are building up the case.
