as long as you dont have any criminal convictions and you can read, telecommunications drug tests so if you apply there you better be clean. also hope you can read. with that in mind dress up nice and be talkative and polite but i wouldnt suggest working there unless youve hit rock bottom.

I agree with Ron. Only work there if you have hit rock bottom. Its a rather difficult job. You have to deal with a lot of nasty people on the phones and you then have to be extremely nice back to them. No matter what. The supervisors truly think that if you just read the scripts the volunteers will just magically come but they do not. Everyone has bad days. The job can be boring, very boring. The upside to this job is that you do get paid weekly and the company is good to you. Hours are flexable. As long as you get our hours in weekly they are happy and will work with you. They do have low pay but if you work nights you get paid more.

I suppose it might be better than moping floors at Mcdonald's or offering cheap sex on "backpage" wouldn't it?

In this economy, a job is a job. I just got hired, and I can't wait to start.

I worked there for awhile in the NRA room. It takes a very certain kind of person to not be miserable. I've worked all the call centers in the region before I got a decent job. In my opinion infocision was the worst. They have this very professional look to them, yet they are the only one that didn't drug test. You really have to be a shark to be successful. The pay is better than most entry level jobs, and the benefits are surprising for the lack of experience needed. But it just wasn't worth it to me, I can home every night stressed, I swear everyday I would dread going in to work. The people you call are extremely rude, and most catch on that you are using scare tactics to achieve your quota for the day. They will tell you that there isn't a certain amount of money or volunteers you bring in, and there isn't. But you must keep up with te rest of the communicators. If
you fall below 80% of the room, you are disciplined. I was struggling but I had to quit, I was killing myself doing that job, so did odd jobs instead, and eventually found something that didn't make me want to go on a rampage everyday.

They're a joke. I applied twice and wasn't hired, even when told by a manager to come back and I would be.

They didn't even get that far with me. They said they'd work around my hours (can only work prior to 5pm) but then made it into a big deal and never called back.

Work in Telecom room for quite some time and so over the attitude of a supervisor. Just because you decided not to do your job and it came down on you doesn't mean everyone should have to deal with your shortcomings. The attitude is beyond ridiculous and several people are ready to leave.
