Word has already been on the street for some time that the prosecutor can't charge all the cases. Many felonies go uncharged and the situation will worsen.
Plea bargains from felonies to misdemeanors will increase. It may get to the point where any plea will be accepted as long as the case is not a major news item. It was two years ago when Kim Worthy said she may not continue to bring cases for simple robbery or home invasions. These are cases where their is evidence.
If nobody will be charged, why even make the call to 911. The dispatchers take it a step farther and say, "Why even send a unit?"
Detroit stopped reporting crime statistics on February 3rd. I wonder if it was cost cutting or to hide an increase.

I can't imagine Sheriff Arpaio saying there is no room in the inn. He'd just say "Ya'll spite these beans up among you beaners cause that's all we got."
