salvaged covered bridge

I read awhile ago that one covered bridge in Williston was washed downstream in a flood (many years ago)and came to rest on a farmer's field.
After a long time in which the town discussed whether to reposition it or abandon it, the farmer sued the town and won the bridge under salvage rights. According to the little article, he turned it into a storage shed.
Does anyone in town remember where that bridge came to rest, or any further details about the story?
Thank you for your attention.
