"During the raid, detectives seized about $400 worth of cocaine, marijuana, a dagger and drug paraphernalia"
Wow, 400 dollars worth. They must have brought down a drug overlord! We're winning the war on drugs! Yaaay!

This is just another example of fallout from absentee landlords. This is a four-family run-down house owned by some company located in Fort Salonga. People love to own property and then rent it out to anybody and then just sit back and collect the rent. They live on the nice side of town, meanwhile, the homeowners in the neighborhood have to put up with all the crap and eventually move. That is how slums are created.

Good job by the cops, but kind of routine, isn't it, given the quantity of drugs seized? Why is this considered newsworthy? If it was $ 4 million worth of dope, now that would be something worth putting in the paper.
Must have been a slow news day.

Kudos to the 2nd pct in suffolk county. This is what helps improve areas going after the small fries! Hey guys don't forget to bag the people with even less!!!I also would like to complement the cope boys(and gals)on their (seems in vain) efforts to stop the illegal drivers on depot road(worst by far in all of huntington)I watched them one day about aweek ago I swear for every one the bagged at least(this is con servative)there had to be 5 or 6 vehicles with flags that drove past that I could see they had expired tags!!! Cope those two car's should stay on depot 24hrs 365! Help us 2nd pct DON'T STOP!!!!

I applaud the neighbors for calling the police. If more of them would have the guts to do it, maybe some of these neighborhoods will have a chance. List all the crack houses here! Make this forum good for something other than insulting each other!

91 Wyman another Don Pius drug house Yet the Town Board just loves Pius for all the wonderful work he does "for the children"".
Yea like turning entire neighborhoods into drug dens operated safely out of his houses.
Go figure, Pius and his buddy Harvey Vengroff whose house at 28 Columbia st was the site of last weeks drug busts, are the two biggest slumlords on LI but even after murders, rapes, and drugs and arson (West Hills rd fire which killed three) occur at their drug invested houses no one does a thing because after all "where would our children stay" if we cracked down on these wonderful landlords???

The house is probably owned by SLUM LORD Don Pius. Huntington Station will never get cleaned up as long as he owns properties there.
