This is a serious blow to our community. Too bad the landlord could not work it out with B&N.
Our community will miss B&N. It was a great place to meet, buy literature, have a cup of coffee. Both my kids enjoyed story time with Ms. Debra and so did hundreds of other families. I met many friends there and am grateful for that.
It's more than just a store we are losing ... it was a place for our community to come together and learn new things through their programs and meet people with similar interests.
Is it really better to have a huge empty store there? A black eye for sure.
Very disappointed by the decisions made here. I hope both parties read this post. Maybe they can come back to the bargaining table? Maybe not? B&N will surely be missed.
