You ever try and drive past the intersection of rt25 and rt110 when there is an event letting out of the town house. Traffic Nightmare!! Picture that but 10 times worse. That intersection is already one of the most dangerous on Long Island. Do we really need to attract more traffic. You know what - with the kickbacks that a corperation like that will throw around town hall I am sure it will happen. And then who gets to pay the bill. Bend over folks this one is going to hurt.
At least they will provide more jobs. And what traffic nightmare, you f-ing idiot. Of course they will have a traffic light put up there. I'ts not like you are going to have Uncle Ira just blasting across Jericho tpke. The only ones I feel sorry for are the rats and mice that are about to loose thier home. If you are so worried , take the back road to jackson ave. Or just leave early for temple.

Rhona and the rest of the Silvers are slave drivers who don't know the meaning of the words loyalty or respect. you can say that she's laughing all the way to the bank, however, don't forget she was linked to organized crime not too long ago. Let's see what her cut of the sale is! I hope she gets what she has given to people in the past - a good ol kick in the butt. I hate Martha Stewart and Rhona fits right in there with that crooked beast!

I was married there last year. It was a dream come true. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. I had no complaints. I'm sad to see it go. Now I won't be able to show my children where their parents were married.

Your story is a sad one. Meanwhile, they drive down wages, hire foreign workers, eliminate company benefits and retirement packages, and have the nerve to blame consumers for their "shortfall" while they buy up all the land and set up their artificial, pre-fab buildings everywhere they can squeeze them. Ughh. I guess corporations aren't the great capitalistic leaders some people tout them to be.

All so true. I know as a country we must progress but it is a dam shame to destroy history for short term profits.
