I would love to have a conversation with you in person. I agree, however, I did what the law allows me to do and feel it is equally unsafe to flip threw stations on the radio, eat, drink, talk to someone in the car, hand my son a bottle. It is all very unsafe, however, if you were aware of the full story you would know that I was being defenisive and that there was no where for me to turn. If you have the guts to share your comment online, please feel free to contact me via e-mail. firstname.lastname@example.orgIt's impossible to drive defensively while having a cellphone conversation (hands-free or not). So, shut the phone off and concentrate on driving.

... To all those who judge - and have nothing better to do than place judgement.- please realize that if this was your close friend as she is mine- you would keep your comments to yourself - a little empathy please - that day I drove by my good friends car flipped over on the highway ( not even knowing it was her ) my stomach sank at the devastation of the sight- she is a strong willed and amazing woman- that day she crawled out of a flipped car to save herself and her son. Driving on Long Island is very dangerous - even the most cautious drivers will at some point have an encounter with another careless driver- I'm so thankful her and her son were fine! He's a miracle child for sure.
