Of course you can blame someone, the blame lies fully with whoever was supposed to be watching the girl. That's who to blame. And if the parents put the child's care into the hands of an obvious incompetant, then they are to blame.
Stop making excuses for people that are so wrapped up in themselves that they can't care for children, and start holding them responsible.
do you have a life????..... cuz stay out of ours.. and if you dont have positive things to say,,,, then get off this shit

The yard was full of people - once again! As a parent, I can't tell you how many times at how many gatherings I end up watching everyones children!!! I work in the same building as a Pre-School program. I can't tell you how many times I watch out the window at groups of young mothers chatting away while their 3 and 4 year olds run around playing - in the parking lot, at the curb, etc. I've even gone outside to keep an eye on toddlers knowing their moms are just around the side of the building.
I do not bring my daughter to school functions anymore - no one watches their children and these same children do not listen when other adults tell them to stop running, sit down, etc. I've been in a gym full of children and adults where the parents were oblivious to what was going on because they were too wrapped up in their own conversations. Of course the parents were only there because the school requires that parents stay with their children for certain after school activities.
For some reason people just don't feel the need to actually watch their children in a crowd. I suppose they expect that the other adults will be watching them.
Well, THIS is what happens when you don't keep your eyes on your children!
Call me overprotective - but my children are alive!
you make me sick..... put ur self in our shoes...ur a mother and you can talk like that

WHERE WERE THE PARENTS! Arrest them for manslaughter.

Well... for the 4 year old girl: Obviously the people who were there didn't pay close attention to the girl. They aren't good watchers of kids. It's their fault because when you have a child, you're supposed to keep a good eye on them because who knows what they're going to do. I'm 12 years old and I'm a better babysitter than a 45 year old! I watch my 5 year old brother better than you!!! Next time you have a baby, make sure you know what you're doing and be a good mother. I say take the rest of the children into foster care!

Ok, to start off about the 4 year old girl. The people who were supposedly "watching the children" need to get help! I'm a 12 year old girl who watches my 5 year old brother better than a 25 year old! Next time the mother wants to have a baby, don't have it at 15 years old and then drop out of high school. Think about better things to do in your life. Have a baby at 30. My brother almost dround at my grandparent's house, but I looked around to check on him (which is what a normal person would do) and saved his freekin' life! You know why I saved him? Cuz I love him!!! I say put the rest of the children in foster care! and the mother go to rehab!!!

There are so many people that take advantage of the government just by having children! My sister blames my mom for having us eight kids and then not seeing us and all but she is on her fifth herself! Just like our mom she is most likely on welfare and she doesn't have a high school diploma and never sees her siblings. So the case is, I'm glad none of her kids have any problems since she is mean to them and slaps their faces. Her first two are well behaved but since she started slapping the third one, the last two are monsters and she is still pregnant with the fifth. I'm hoping she stops reproducing because her husband she is separated from is only paying for his(I hope) and the other three aren't going to get paid for by their father because he dumped my sister when she got pregnant again. She is I bet taking advantaged of the government by having wic. She needs to get herself a job!!!!!!!!!!
