Why would you comment on something when you don't have a clue of what happened. Let a full detailed report come out and the post you "smart" comments. I forget some people don't know how to read. No where in the article did it say anything about alcohol.

Sounds like the total sum of the occupants' blood alcohol content exceeded the model number of the BMW...

How can someone 20 years old afford a BMW, even an older one? Those cars are very expensive to maintain.

Also, Cal Med is near downtown, not East LA, last time I checked

Its very sad this happened, but its about time someone ate crap from trying to make an exit/transition after they passed it. I drive over 100 miles a day, and im sick of people crossing the gore point. Screw people who think they are special. In this case it was just a bunch of kids whos parents didnt teach them proper and courteous driving. I hope that driver chick gets cited for wreckless driving and/or vehicular manslaughter. Teach her butt a lesson.

Wanna bet? Except I'd not be doing it over the internet, I'd be saying in their face...That's part of the problem, family and friends don't make the idiots of this world accountable for their actions. Instead they make excuses for their stupid relatives.

Who cares what they were driving, dip wad? Maybe she had a decent job or saved for a long time. It really doesn't matter. This is a sad tragedy. All of your comments seem to focus on inconsequential minutiae instead of how human suffer in tragedy.

It happened over by the 110/105 E interchange ;That's nearer LAX. Maybe Cal Med Center has a trauma Center. I think the story said a couple were taken to Harbor, which also has a trauma center.I hope they recover and may the ones who passed RIP.

Where does the race card come in? It was 6 women. Why do people have to think up denigrating scenarios when tragedies happen? You only know what you read in the paper. Of course, we all know the paper is the final word on it, they never make a mistake, do they? And even so, unless you were right there with them when it happened, you don't know. So you shouldn't make your ASSumptions. These girls were others friends, sisters, cousins, daughters. Have some compassion for those loved ones, as well as the deceased and injured. Look at it as if it was a situation that affected you personally. Then it might make it easier to do in the future.

I agree with you 100%, I have seen it too, as I am driving theres people(morons) that at the last second, they decide to get in another transition fwy, if they made a mistake why risk life, when you can get off on offramp and correct yourself. I have even seen people slowing down on the fwy, just to get a look at there GPS, but don't care that they are near in creating a crash.

Well if you figure it out, they were out at night, when the parents were not using the cars, which is the case here, the parent lend the girl the car, and the car got totaled, you dig now? I can translate it in spanish if you like.

Let this be a lesson: wear your seatbelt whenever your car is in motion. These deaths could have been prevented. Teach your children how to ride in a car.

Why can't we say her name? It's not like she's going to be using it anymore.
